They are these things called Bushes, they grow in the lane, they are very useful for ganking. In fact they give some of the strongest ganks because you will be behind the enemy laner when the lane pushes back.

Lane ganks are easy as fuck to pull off, literally sweep the pushes which are often times less obvious then when your river ward suddenly goes dark even though you placed it one second ago.
