Anyone that does the Yi/Taric strategy is a pathetic loser and the reason Riot kills off champions.

Just played against this strategy for the first time. If you use this strategy you're a fucking pathetic loser that has to cheat to win games and are the reason Riot kills off champions. Expect Yi to get fully gutted to unplayability because of assholes like you doing what the Patriots do in the NFL and try to use loopholes that everyone knows is cheating to win.

You people that use this strategy are pathetic, game ruining losers that deserve to be banned for cheating.

its a boosting strategy that mainly abuses better communication between the duo, than the other team. it relies on running taric in mid lane and then simply not farming the lane, but supporting the yi throughout the entire game, and having him alternate between farming the jungle and farming mid lane to get a large level and item advantage.

the booster on yi is just shotcalling the taric when to stun and when to ult.

a lot of solo que teams are taken off guard by this. even though there are strategies to counter it, they also rely on communication. its hard to get the rest of your team to move and invade the yis jungle while hes farming mid for a couple seconds.

put a ban on duos in solo que and watch that "off meta" strategy evaporate into nothingness, because it relies less on the champion picks than voice over ip coordination.

That also goes for every single duo synergy, meta or not.

It is only good because people dont expect it and are not sure how to react to it yet. It is already falling off.

In a Moba you search for what ever tactic that works best and you play it to win - period. Yi has been an issue for YEARS. Generally ignored by Riot and Boards.

Morgana, Kayle, Lulu now Taric - nothing new.

I'm assuming it's for cheesy stuns from Dazzle, while also having Yi be able to Alpha Strike during the cook on Taric's ult to come out invincible for a clean escape.
