Why Can't Vel'Koz's Lazor Shoot Out of Tahm's Belly?

I find it extremely confusing that Lucian can be eaten during ult and shoot bullets out of Tahm's stomach but Vel'koz can't shoot his lazor.

It would ignite the gases in his digestive tract and cause him to ignite and explode, showering everyone with toad guts.

Like some people said, Lucian's is not a channeled ability but just an ability that activates and goes through. Champions like Velkoz has to channel it and can be interrupted by enemy or allied players.

Other champions that can work in Tahm's Devour would be: Fiddlesticks Kennen Maokai Morgana Swain Rammus

Also toggle abilities probably can be used in it (I'm assuming...not Anivia's Ult though..well maybe?) Like Amumu Tear's, DrMundo Burning Agony, Karthus Defile, Shyvana Burnout, Singed Poison

But this still makes no sense because cc stops Lucian's ult. If it were Lux ult or Ez ult, two spells that cannot be stopped under any means besides death, it'd be perfectly logical.

Yea in cases like that it is a bit strange, and I actually forgot that he could actually be CC'd out of his ultimate. I think the reason why it works with him is because Lucian's ult has a certain set of CC's that can stop his ult which is generally only knock-up, stun, suppression, and polymorph. On TahmKench's devour it reads as "making them untargetable and unable to take any actions for a short duration" so maybe since the action is already done (you already activated your ult etc) is why it avoids the "unable to take actions" part and since getting devoured by an allied TK makes you untargetable and not hit you with any real CC is why it works I think.

But just thinking about it...Yea it does seem to be kind of annoying and goes against the clarity that they want to make sure is in abilities. Personally, maybe Riot should make his ult get stopped by allied TK's devour in the end.

I has something to do with the fact that Lucian can move while he ults. It's not a proper channel, and it has different interactions with CC than other channels (silences don't stop it, for example).

can lucian really do that?

instead of making vel'koz able to do that, lets make lucian not able to do it

Lucian's ult isn't technically a channeled ability, so Tahm can eat an ulting Lucian just fine. However, Vel'Koz ult IS a channel, meaning that Tahm's Devour will interrupt it.

Tahm can walk around in his ult, it's not a channel or a root whereas MF/Vel is, sadly
