I just played a game where Enemy yasuo was 1/12/5 and because the enemy team had a bunch of knockups his stupid ult won teamfight after teamfight for his team. Like Yasuo is an auto win when you have 
on his team. NO OTHER CHAMPION WORKS LIKE THIS!

1 good Malphite/Ori Ult or 1 good hook can solo win a teamfight even when behind.
TaunkaTruck4 votesI hate Yasuo as much as the next squishy, but you're forgetting something. He relies on a lot of extra help to get it working. Not all teams will have a Cho, or a Blitz. There are very few champ knock ups, given how many champs there are available. Having to rely on a certain comp to make a skill work seems a hindrance more than anything to me.

That works backwards aswell, if you picked Yasuo and noone picked knock ups, you basically don't have an ult, which is really frustrating.
(Unrelated to OP) But it really doesn't. Yasuo' dependency was really overestimated, he doesn't have impossible trouble finding his own knockups.
Yaśuo Main2 votesYes he quite does, but not as much as "impossible" would imply. I rarely land a knockup due to the speed of it and the Q being telegraphed. All the enemy has to do is back up from me far away enough in early game and I'd have no lead possible other than a CS lead. And yes, landing a multiple knockup is not only harder but has even less times it's actually worth it. I speculate that the OP dealt with a hardcore main.
And the knockup has a time limit so half the time you get it, you won't even get to shoot it correctly.

I ment for teamfights. Your options now in teamfights, is to stack Q before a fight and find an ult that way, but 6 seconds is most of the time is not nearly enough, to find a good ulti on target that actually matters. Your other option is, to try and stack Q on their frontline, but most of the time unless your super ahead, you won't live long enough in the frontlines. So you basically pray that if a 5 vs 5 happens, you have someone like zac on your team, that reliance on someone else is really frustrating, both for Yasuo player and his team.

These champions all have ults that can auto win a teamfight in the right scenario.
Yasuo is no different. If he is auto winning teamfights as a 1/12/5, its not his ultimate, its someone else's damage and set up. Or you are grouping too closely. Either way. His ult is nothing special. He animation stuns himself in the middle of whatever is going on, it takes good synergy/set up to be game changing. Miss Fortune and Malphite have WAY easier ults that are just as impactful.
