petition to allow exhaust to work on yi.

I don't mean the movespeed slow as that's kind of his shtick, I'm talking about the damage reduction so when he's a priority target in a game, it's not completely impossible to shut him down after blowing all my cc on the fucker and him living through it with a half a tank item and some lifesteal and no reduction to his e or q whatsofuckingever.

it does work on yi...

AmetDeCrypt1 votes

does not. his ult prevents him being slowed and his e is a true damage boost.

prove me wrong.

Riot has previously made balance changes so that champions with damage amplifiers don't get bonus damage on true damage. Unless you want them to revert those changes, which would be buffs to Vlad/Swain/Talon, they can't make damage reduction effect Yi either.

it does work on yi

not one bit does it.

it does

his E is true damage so exhaust wouldn't work on it anyway

i think the real problem here is that his ult makes him immune to AS slowing too

I'd take that, attack speed slows are rare enough as to be a good counter to a gerbil in a ball rolling over the r key.

Umm what? His attack speed is not slowed?

Umm what? His attack speed is not slowed?

nor is his armor and magic resist lowered apparently, or move speed slowed anytime he's not ulting...

or ya know... reduced damage on his physical/magic damage... since according to OP, the true dmg from his E, is his only form of dmg.

and after all, a 210s cd movespeed slow is the only reason to use ever exhaust, in every elo, folks. not just in bronze 5.

yi is immune to attack speed slows during his ult

it is very negligible drop in DPS when he's exhausted

well then it's a shame that he's not one of the easiest countered champions in the entirety of league existence.

oh wait...

also there's nothing negligible about a 40% drop in physical and magical damage to him, which can easily mean the difference between him killing you/a teammate, or him dying first. especially since damage is literally all he can do.

nor does he have his ult up 100% of the game, which makes exhaust completely freaking crippling to him when he doesn't.

AmetDeCrypt1 votes

exhaust isn't up 100% of the game either.

I'm pretty sure it does work on yi, outside of the true damage (which isn't reduced because y'know, true damage).

It does indeed work on Yi, and is an excellent tool to slow his burst on a priority target.

Deep Terror Nami4 votes

His Ult slow ignore and E true damage actually makes Exhaust worse against him than on anyone else. Sure, it works some, just much less so than others.

Edit: And no, that doesn't mean I agree with OP.

Well, I'd say Riot could easily balance the entire game by making more Teemo skins.

Pretty sure it already does....

Let me type it out clearly for everyone.

Master Yi cannot be slowed in his ultimate.

Exhaust still applies damage debuffs, but Master Yi is not slowed.

you don't say?

AmetDeCrypt1 votes

not to yi's damage as it is true damage.

His E does not give him 100% true damage, so he does receive a debuff, no matter how minor it is.
