Lucian's playrate has passed 50% on champion.gg

I think this might be a record. Has any champion ever managed to obtain such a high play rate? You're literally more statistically likely to see Lucian in a game than not.

meh i think leesins highest playrate was like 20s or maybe mid 30s at most though i doubt it. that was like 3-4 months ago

Even at his peak, Lee never had much more than 30% playrate.

Don't be ridiculous. Boards does not complain about 7 champs being in more than 50% of games.

They complain about 14 champs that are in more than 60% of games, banned in every other game and have 90% win rates if the opponent has one of them in their team.

And there are lot's more. Yet in the entire history of league. No champion has ever been higher than 60%. Lucian is the first champion in the entire history of league to hit 50% and that took over 6 years.

a 50% pickrate is not a sign that something is too strong, its a sign that riot needs to call its marketing team
