Darius + Righteous Glory?
Good, bad? I never play him, but he seems to be kited, and this may alleviate that.
While I'm here I'll ask, BC, yay or nay?

Yes to both.

Righteous Glory is fine on him as a replacement for whatever other defensive item you built on him. Use it to replace something like a warmog's or thornmail, but never something like a frozen heart, banshee's veil, or randuin's.
Black Cleaver is... okay, but ultimately not worth it, to be honest. At the end of the day a Triforce is better in most situations. It solves the problem of being kited Darius has, but to a greater extent (Zeal son), and makes your W hit with the force of a tactical nuclear warhead. The added attack speed is nice for stacking your passive, the extra mana is nice, and the crit is just icing on the cake. Black Cleaver offers a few things triforce doesn't, namely cooldown reduction, more HP, slightly more AD, and its armour shred.
The armour shred is good of course, but Darius is not nearly as good at stacking it in a team fight as champs like Garen or Wukong. And in terms of killing a single target, you have a true damage nuke. What do you need armour shred for?
The extra health and 10 AD are whatever.
The cooldown reduction is the biggest loss, but ultimately Darius' cooldowns even with no CDR in your items are fairly low, and if you feel you need some you can easily get a Frozen Heart.
Oh, and I would never replace a Ravenous Hydra with a Black Cleaver. It's not close to worth it.
Ultimately, I really only buy Black Cleaver if I have to do something like babysit (murder) a Nasus top lane, so that I can continue having easy kill pressure on him.
Actually i'd say Black Cleaver helps his kiting more. TF phage passive only work on AA, meaning Darius have to be already caught up to someone in melee range to aa and get the ms boost, while Cleaver Phage passive works on Physical damage meaning when chasing he can q (no cast time, no interrupt) a minion and get instant speed boost, even more if you kill a minion along the way. The zeal as is not that much, and the 20 cdr is actually very very good on Darius. With cdr he can actually applies BC cleave very quickly with the combination of Hydra and Q spam. Darius power budget lies in his Q and Ult, which until lvl 16, cdr helps a metric ton in outputting aoe damage and having his most important spell up as fast as possible, not to mention hes most vulnerable with E down, which have a huge cd. Darius is an AD caster tanky bruiser, and CLeaver gives him everything he wants.
And the health is not "whatever" its 400. A good amount actually. Pairing Cleaver with FH and you have a really tanky Darius with 40 cdr thats shreding everything in sight with out fear of mana and becomes really hard to kite or kill

Black Cleaver does help with kiting more, but only slightly. TF only works with AA if you don't kill the target. If you kill the target with a Q you still get the 60 movement speed boost. Your scenario also only applies to chasing in lane, when chasing in the jungle or even just in a lane with no nearby minions, you would have to Q a champion you're chasing for the boost. And if you can do that, why not just hook them? And in lane, sure, in some scenarios Q'ing to chase could be beneficial, but I can't think of a time I couldn't just auto a nearby minion to run up and hook that annoying Teemo who thought he could farm while in my lane.
The zeal will be a big deal when applied to the movement speed you have hopefully built (alacrity boots, fuck yeah).
The twenty CDR is good on Darius, but is it good enough to replace a hydra or a triforce? No, not at all. The way you're describing Darius in a team fight makes it sound like you think his place is in the front lines, as if he were a tank. He's not a tank though. Darius' real place in a team fight is chilling with the ADC to peel, because his hook and W (which hurts like fuck with a triforce) are excellent peeling tools.
Cleaver's not bad on Darius. It's pretty good. It's just not as good as a Trinity Force or a Ravenous Hydra.
It is indeed a good amount, but health can be gotten elsewhere. What triforce brings can not.
I think the arguement is really TF vs CLeaver. Hydra i dont think was ever challenged For the MS boost, stopping to aa something vs no cast time Q to get MS is a huge thing. You dont need to Q a champion to get the ms, the speed boost from q-ing a passing minion might be just what you need to get in range for an apprehend. You are not gonna stop mid chase to aa a minion arent you, you can just Q, which is a aoe and ranged meaning the ease and regularity of him getting the ms buff is larger than TF
And wouldn't BC help the adc to kill the guy you are peeling from since Armor Debuff? The way i see it is that TF is the more offensive selfish option, you wanna carry game and kill people quickly, while BC is the more team oriented option, giving you tankiness to stay in fight longer, CDR so you can slow and pull more often, and aoe armor debuff is always apreciated
