Let us ping our ping

Photos of Ghosts··3 votes·364 views

Recently, Riot introduced some very smart pings that allow you to skip lengthy chat messages and avoid wasting precious time ingame. However, we miss a fundamental one - the ability to "quickly" say "I have a lag spike of several thousands ms, don't engage, peel off". YES I KNOW you're supposed to have a perfect connection, but when you've been playing for 4 years and your internet starts going to shit for no reason, it's kinda hard to force oneself to stop playing.

But like, if you have high ping, wouldn't the ping message itself be delayed too?

Sure but if you ping, say, 600 ping, it will arrive quickly enough to let the team know that you're useless for some time.

True, that's why said "quickly", but it's still better than typing it out.
