Why the F can't we just revert Zhonya's changes back to when it had 120 AP and appropriate price?

No, it wasn't op against ad mids. No, the passive wasn't and isn't op, it was used only by mages (ap supports even had to think about variety of items they could buy instead of Zhonya) No, those ap who didn't buy it could still manage some plays around it. Yes, that part of the game was more balanced back then. BRING BACK OLD ZHONYA

why the hell would anyone in their right mind deem it okay for the most powerful active in the game with ~50 Armor be allowed to have as much damn AP on it as item 3089? Hello? Shit was stupid. Literally every AP mid built it. there was no reason not too. You get the maximum amount of AP on a defensive item as well as an invincibility button? DUDE!

Except the most powerful active is still, and always has been tied to item 3140 item 3139. Use this at the wrong time and you waste the active and don't have it when you need it. Use item 3157 at the wrong time and you put yourself 2.5 seconds out of position and die to a 1v5 because your team isn't and shouldn't fight that AND you waste the active.

Both item 3157 and item 3139 used to be at literally the same level, giving the highest AP/AD of any item, a good amount of resists and a powerful active. Then they give one of them some extra stats and nerfed the other down, and are planning to nerf its stats even further.

Ive already explained to you that mercurial is indeed op right now and needs to be nerfed. The claim that QSS is better than statsis is still ludicrous tho.

Being invincible, untargetable and invulnerable for ~3 seconds > removing a CC. Its not even close.

Something else being broken does not validate another being broken. That shit leads to powercreep.

Both and used to be at literally the same level, giving the highest AP/AD of any item, a good amount of resists and a powerful active. You ARE aware that this isn't true right? Mercurial giving that much AD is relatively recent in the games history. Zhonyas has persistently given way to much AP since its inception.

And Zhonyas was way more const effective than Mercurial. its not even funny.

The QSS is better than stasis though. Cleansing any cc and getting bonus movement speed is more powerful than avoiding damage at the cost of no movement.

The buffed Mercurial up to max ad back in Season 4 then lowered both to give the second highest this preseason. So while Zhonya's did get the highest for a lot longer the both have been like that for about 2 years now.

And right now Zhonya's is 88% gold efficient while Mercurial gets to be 98%. So if Zhonya's still has way too much AP then Mercurial needs its stats absolutely gutted.

What do you mean "as much as ap on it as rabadon"? You went for raba if you wanted A LOT more ap than Zhonya, you went for Zhonya if you wanted to go defensive, IT WAS FINE. Now you can't even feel safe with new Zhonya.

Yes, and while we're at it, let's bring back instant Veigar AoE stun, as well as LeBlanc Silence, and Deathfiregrasp, as well as old Fiora... Oh what the fuck am I saying? That's a horrible idea.

I'd rather have old Fiora over the current Fiora.

I'd rather have an ult I can avoid. Not an ult that is an automatic execute under turret with RANGE, filled with two PoC dashes, a constant AS buff, and never ending regeneration.

lnstantCoffee1 votes

A lot of top lane champs have a way to avoid her old ult (which had no range at all btw). She still has sustain from her passive through proccing vitals, her new AS buff grants a slow (preventing the whole-disengage until it's down thing) an a crit, her dash is already basically Point & Click since you just aim at the general area and it focused champs (and vitals) for you, while having a drastically lowered cooldown

MasterSomething1 votes

If her dash is basically point and click, then is Maokai's sapling point and click? No. You have to aim it somewhere first before it takes action. Old Fiora Q could dash you in 1/4 the lane distance, so getting her ult started was NOT an issue. Her new Q is so damn short I have no issue hitting her and walking away with an easy trade. Also, tell me, how do you avoid her old ult? I'd like to know. Her sustain is preventable and you can no longer get it off minions. Her AS buff got nerfed heavily and does not refresh on kills, the slow and crit are static.

Maokai's sapling has a reasonable travel time

Alright, anything else? I couldn't think of a good example. Best I could think of was... Annie. Ugh.

Vlad W, Jax E, etc. Her new Q auto aims for champions, has a lower cooldown and even focuses targets that will die to it and vitals. Using Q to proc a vital gives you health and movement speed to back off and get a free trade.

MasterSomething1 votes

Yes, if your opponent can't possibly trade. Honestly I have never had any issue trading with a Fiora. I can see her coming from a mile away- It's about trying to bait her into a bad spot to get that vital (Right next to a near dead minion so it will target that instead, into a giant minion wave, against a wall) and then beat the crap out of her.
