I mean no offense to ekko mains, but can someone explain the appeal in playing him? He feels so boring to play for me. His cooldowns are longer than a few of the other assassins, so after you land your combo on one person, you just run around auto attacking people until you're low enough to press r or can get enemy champs in his r. His kit just feels so linear and dull

What does a jungler do..go around killing jungle monsters until they're strong enough to gank? Always ending up with less cs and levels than their allies.
Where's the appeal in supporting? All you do all game is place wards and stun the enemy's engage or something.
Why play annie? She's so boring just flash r to kill someone.
Everyone has their own thing they like. Some people wanna press QWER and kill someone and that's basically it, or others wanna kill people slower with some QWE+AA+AA+QW+R yada yada

I'm no Ekko main but I do play him quite a bit. He's fun as hell to play. For me, I love his mobility and champs with high mobility I tend to enjoy a lot. The sheer amount of outplays available to him are satisfying to pull off.
Blàdedancer1 votesI'm an Ekko main. AP Ekko, specifically. Ill tell you why hes acutally really fun and versatile. First of all, mid-late game his cooldowns are very short, Q and E about 3 secs and W like 7, ult about 50 secs. You obviously don't understand the appeal of him. The point of his combo is that once you got it off, the enemy should be pretty much dead after said few autos. Hes a delayed damage dealer. His ult is also one of the most badass in the game. If you pop that into a group, you will do 3/4 of all their HP. His W can set up some amazing plays, and he is extremely mobile from his E, with the roll and TP, and passive speed. I didn't see much from Ekko until I played him, and after all this time, I don't regret it. If you snowball even a tiny bit, you become this unstoppable mobile assassin, who is just running around, blinking from foe to foe and POPPING THEM.
