Gold funneling strategy is the most outdated technique ever

People could have done this strategy seasons ago, now someone decides to do it

Then riot goes ahead and nerfs pretty much every jungler from farming in lane. At least buff the gold of camps.

If a jungler is behind in a game then what are they going to do to catch up to their laners when minions grant 4 freaking gold?

If junglers are behind, they don't get hit with the penalty. The penalty only applies if the jungler has the most gold on his team. If he's doing shit bad, he won't have the most gold, soooooooo...

And also, Riot stated this was a Band-Aid fix for a larger problem. They acknowledged that this solution wasn't a good fix, but that it was a fix to eliminate a worse problem.

Its frustrating when you are trying to carry as jungler, you have the most gold in your team, but your team keeps dying and when you go to hold the lane you are losing gold.

funny thing ever since duo bot lane has been meta (carry + support) it has been a gold funnel strategy for the carry to get all gold/kills and the support get gold via gold income item + passive gold so that carry can hit their power spike and items sooner to take over and carry the game.

now that people use it in a different way Smite mid and a support with a gold income item splitting jungle exp and giving jungle gold to mid with smite its an issue and the sky is falling.

now i have seen it work and fail in PRO PLAY there are ways to beat it and counter it. i have yet to see it be effective in solo queue but thats me. it seems like a strategy that premades/teamspeak coordinated players can pull of if they do it right and typical solo queue teams cant.
