is this real? lmao
Real? Yep. Complete? No. We've got changes to Vlad's AA damage, AA missile speed, Q ratio, Q base damage, E slow all being tested, though I'd imagine those haven't all been datamined yet.

It occurs to me that it would seem much more efficient to just have a changelog in the files instead of making Moobeat have to dig through all of it
Definitely more efficient in terms of people getting a quicker understanding of what's on the PBE. Less efficient for us in terms of speed we can iterate at and need to work on more formal messaging before changes are locked down. That trade off's kept us from putting the time in, especially since people like Moobeat do an excellent job already, while also presenting a range of other content (splash arts, skins, feature changes, UI etc).
Worth. I'll take that trade every time.
" Why have formal documents?
First writing the decision down is essential. Only when one writes do the gaps appear and the inconsistencies protrude. The act of writing turns out to require hundreds of mini-decisions and it is the existence of these that distinguishes clear, exact policies from fuzzy ones. "
Fredrick Brooks - The Mythical Man Month.
Documentation is the lifeblood of any project, and its critical to maintaining consistency in your design decisions in implementation. If you're not documenting your work you'll get no sympathy from me when they become inconsistent and you're left with bugs in things like CC-dash interactions. These kinds of interactions can be tested out by the designers/engineers if there is a clear and consistent vision for how these abilities should interact.
Furthermore your designers/engineers don't document their work because you've got a volunteer doing it for you? What would happen if Moobeat gets tired of doing this and you're left with no one to do this work? Seems suspect if you ask me.
If you're not documenting your work
That is a bit of an assumption. It is likely that they are documenting their work. They just aren't uploading a user-friendly account of the documentation with each PBE iteration. Documentation for the end-user isn't the same thing as documentation from the design end, particularly when the changes are in an iteration that isn't meant for the end-user.
What would happen if Moobeat gets tired of doing this and you're left with no one to do this work? Seems suspect if you ask me.
Then the situation would need to be reevaluated. No one said or implied that the current situation had to be permanent.
Yep, we document stuff internally, to track changes, facilitate discussion, build eventual patch notes, share learnings etc. Those have different needs than a public change log however.
Great to hear, thanks for popping in and calming our worries!
now all we need is that 5 ms back and all my dreams will be fulfilled
'Tis Blood Moon time. 'Tis when Vladimir mains will thrive.
OMG See I knew it was you and your Mordekaiser friend I saw posting on the boards ! xD
Lies. He and I arent friends.
We're lovers.

aa speed? is that serious?
Gotta fling that blood.

So it begins...
Missile speed, not attack speed. My bad on the confusion, edited that post.
Improved last hitting early game's the goal there.
Is there anyone else who needs improved missile speed?
About every mage in the game.
Kennen's is smooth IMO
Karthus's just makes me die a little inside everytime I see it
Karthus throws an auto Um... Auto still traveling, Karthus shrugs and decides to just Q the minion instead
The game is nearing its end, enemy is at the nexus. Karthus finally finished the throw animation and projectile starts to travel.
The year is 20XX, and Karthus's auto attack is still traveling to its target.
That's why it's always best to stack attack speed items on Karthus.
I haven't won a game with him since his release but that Mobafire guide seemed legit.
's is SO. GOOD.
That's because there is no missile. Azir's AA isn't a projectile. Same with Vel'Koz, and Kayle with her E.
When I play Vel I love Yasuo's who complain that my autos can go through his wind wall. Sometimes I buy a lichbane just to piss him off more.
Karthus...
it was legit impossible to last hit with old karthus AA, his autos were something... indescribable
My last-hitting on Karthus vastly improved after I played DotA2 back then. He had a freaking DotA auto-attack for some reason. It was like Zeus: a lot of time spent winding up, slow projectile, and when it hits you might as well have thrown a tuft of cotton candy (or a skittle) at them for all the damage it did.

Shouldn't ranged champions (and particularly ranged champions who go top lane) have worse CSing power than melee champions? You get to farm safely from range, why should Riot make it easier for the ranged player?
Ranged already have more smaller window to last hit due to lower base ad.
On the Camille nerfs: She's definitely too strong right now, no one is going to argue that, but it looks like you guys are hitting her pretty hard. Do you think all of these changes will stick for her?
her winrate has been slowly dropping because people are becoming more aware of her weaknesses, it's dropped like 4% from last week
We're starting aggressively large and looking to understand which combination of nerfs make the most sense. Gut reaction is not everything on the PBE for Camille's likely to ship, possible we go with different stuff altogether depending on what we find too.

why did you not nerf her **TRUE **damage.
and you forgot to the nerf making her ult go down when she DIES
Precision Protocol (Q) bonus damage on second hit lowered to 70% from 100%
is on the PBE
Why change vlad's AA? He isn't really an autoattackyish champion.
QoL buff, CSing with Vlad is cancer
how do you even decide to change his auto attack speed? is that to help with last hitting or something?
Glad you guys aren't leaving champions in the dumpster for years anymore.

HEY GUYS
REMEMBER THAT VAYNE NERF.
-3 AD
NOW WE KNOW WHERE THAT AD WENT
Not gonna lie I am extremely skeptical that riot can ever truly balance a champion with the theme/play style Vlad has.
Ah that's amazing. I can finally throw away my
for that sweet, sweet
please nerf vlad E make it do 69 dmg next patch or else he will be broken
Vlad is going to be so broken lmao
can't wait to use it in my gold 4 promos :)
and 1v1 Faker
In before RoX uses it as a surprise pick against SKT but they still lose.
