so ie gets a nerfed rework. goes back to crits doing 225% damage instead of 250%. essenz reaver goes to 60 ad (but at least crit chance)

rapidfire, statikk and runaans just got a nerf to attackspeed and crit chance and phantom dancer got the same and a somewhat betteritem 3156 passive. so idk if i understand riots "buffs" but in my opinion legit every adc item besides ER gets a nerf. hows that supposed to help adc again?

25% extra crit damage is better than 10% true damage against most squishies i think. It's also a good first item again so you choose either upfront burst of stormrazor or rushing for your 3 items power spike.

It's an overall nerf from before 8.11 still, but marksmen needed that nerf in the first place, so partially reverting some changes (like IE and ER) is still good but wont return them to ardent censor era of power, which is good.

Only for midgame, every champ with a single armor item or being lvl 18 will receive less dmg with the 225% crit than with the 10% true dmg convert.

The changes that are shown on the last Riot thread are a straight up nerf to every single crit adc on all states of the game outside the ER users that will have a better early and mid but also a worse lategame.

If you play adc you dont want those items to go live trust me.

Because it's more exciting to basically bring back old crit items and nerf them and call it something new than to admit that their old nu crit idea sucked.

PD's shield actually states 280 damage shield, not magic, meaning it can block both phys and magical, which makes it a decent defensive. The AS nerfs would honestly require elaboration, the crit chance nerfs are because of overcapping on crit (current issue). ER would lose its primary effect of reducing cdr on spells, which is a decent nerf to the item (and returns it back to ADs who used it) They can tinker with these items as long as they want, but they need live data to make adjustments.

it makes no sense to nerf crit% if i have 120% crit chance or 100% doesnt matter. why? because both is 100%. if they would at least make the items 100-200g cheaper but nope. nerfing attackspeed, why? again one of the stats adcs need, but the items didnt get cheaper.

ER is literally only good on lucian right now and even on him its somewhat rare. so i consider this a buff as more adcs can buy it again.

just imagine nerfing every lethality item or every major ap item reducing their stats but not making it cheaper. i mean wtf!?

Yes, who is that goon Jax anyway, right? Where ER fixes almost every problem/counterplay he has?

I think those changes Riot has planned would be perfect... if they left Infinity Edge as it is now. You should still be able to reach 100% crit with three items, leaving room for boots, lifesteal, and pen. Plus the true damage conversion isn’t very strong versus anyone who isn’t stacking armor... but only tanks do that, and EVERYONE melts tanks.

What if Infinity Edge kept its double crit passive, but it built out of the old Giant Slayer and the true damage conversion were replaced with the Giant Slayer passive? Suddenly, you’ve made marksmen more effective vs HP tanks (read: bruisers), nerfed Yasuo/Tryndamere/Gangplank (soryy buddy), and slightly reduced the struggles tanks currently face. These three melees might face some direct compensation buffs, and Alistar and Aftershock would need some nerfs to keep them from running hog-wild (cow-wild?) in the bot lane, though.

You could just nerf Mages. And nerfing GP? Dude, he is already shit and doesn't even build IE anymore.

Haha they only get a early-mid buff, even the ER users would be worse on lategame due to how trash 225% IE is.
