I personally don't feel that ADC's are as weak as people are making them out to be.

I think they're just building them wrong, AKA rushing into Crit items. If I'm not mistaken, this item wasn't designed as compensation to the crit changes for marksman, it was designed for other things like Assassins or Bruisers top lane. Every time that I have built Stormrazor first, my damage is just negligible because marksman want to auto you as much as possible in a short duration, not wait a second and auto again.

I play a lot of Jinx for example, and havn't had any issue with playing her bot lane, I've actually carried games more often than not. I personally avoid building Stormrazor as much as I can, because the item self isn't cost efficient in my eyes, for marksman at least. I instead rush a Zeal item into IE, into another Zeal item so I get 100% Crit on top of the true damage, and you just melt people. Of course, this is using Jinx as an example, but I'm sure it'll work with Tristana, Draven, or anything that use Crit to their advantage.

Of course, rushing a zeal item first means you're not going to be doing hardly any damage until you get your first BF sword. I haven't tested rushing a BF sword into completing a Zeal item, and that might be the best option here.

But hey, this is just my personal experience.

If you dont rush stormrazor you're even more useless as adc.

Its not a great item, but theres literally no other options, which is why playing adc feels awful right now, it is the least queued role for right now.

Tell me why it's considered a "necessity" when I see ADC streamers first item Shiv all the time and have massive success?

The class itself isn't designed to be "poke and get out", it's to seige, to put out as much DPS as you physically can by constantly auto attacking. Stormrazor completely throws that play style out the window.

Literally nobody builds shiv anymore, let alone rush it.

Marksman itemization is pretty focus on marksmen who want to stand still and basic attack. With Stormrazor, we're introducing an item for marksmen with longer pauses between attacks, whether they're kiting or just have long attack cooldowns (looking at you, Jhin).

Literally taken from the patch notes 8.11 in which Stormrazor got added. It is not designed for bruisers and assassins, it's supposed to be a marksmen item.

And I think it actually works quite well. Statistics support this as well.

Any player worth his salt will shit on you in that pre - Zeal+IE phase. Seriously, i main Graves adc and this meta is a blessing for my LP, everytime an adc is picked against me, it's full balls to the walls all in, all i need is a support who understands how botlane match ups works.

And despite this meta being good to me, i know marksmen who rely on crit are too weak in an ELO where players know what they are doing.

Every other class functions on SOME level without items. Assassins have mobility and base damage, mages have utility, tanks CC etc... only marksmen offer only damage, they rely on it like no other class.

An Oriana with no items still has one of the best teamfighting ults. An kog'maw with no items is a walking 300 gold.

That’s kinda supposed to be the point of the item, which makes it so terrible to build since it delays your core build so much (mainly the price), but if you don’t build it you’re basically non-existent early game.

This is something the current PBE item changes fix, by reducing the price significantly (with some nerfed stats), it doesn’t hurt as much to build.

honestly only a few adcs 'feel' good pre 15 - 20 min but ofc they work still, the only ones that are straight up bad are trist, varus, and cait but even they feel good after a few items

I finally uninstalled league and I'm very happy i made that decision. The game is stimulating and engaging but does not allow for personal growth in this game world. When you finally climb up the rank followed with a cascade of losses that does not end the game becomes disheartening and it actually takes away from the fun of it. I don't know how Riot determines the people who recently gets demoted to be paired with other players. It's not like Final Fantasy 14 where players can actually level up, compete in a healthy manner and interact with other players with goals and quests. I wasted a lot of time and resources in this game which I truly regret. Sometimes I wonder how my life would be different if I made the effort to get into nurse anesthesia school than to have spent it in this game. That wouldn't of course be anyone else's fault but mine but to have all my hard work get stripped off me after playing hours of hard work is not worth my time and attention anymore. Thanks Riot for all the years of entertainment and stimulation that I had playing this game. I hope you guys find a better way to keep your players.
