Jhin is about as much of an ADC as Mordekaiser was.

If you don't snowball lane, and you're still in game after 35+ minutes and you're playing against an actual ADC with sustained damage then you will lose. Even if your team was winning hard. At the end of the day, you've put your team up against a time bomb - not because the Enemy team has a hypercarry ADC, but that they have an ADC at all.

TL;DR - Don't pick Jhin as your team's Primary AD Carry and if you do, make sure the match doesn't go past mid-game.

I don't think I've seen an Ally or Enemy Team with a Jhin as their Primary AD Carry win when the game has lasted over 30 minutes.

I mean, your logic applies to several ADCs who are meant to snowball and suck if they don't. Draven is a good example.

Also Jhin's purpose won't be in 1v1 fighting the other carry, but rather hanging in the backline and letting his team CC their carries so he can secure kills. I have a few links of post 30 minute games as Jhin. I was strong in several of them, but the games were still quite long. Also his scaling is nothing to be sneezed at, so I don't fully agree with saying he isn't a late game carry.

It's perfectly fine if he's more of a Burst Carry than a DPS Carry. It just means your team, if you want to balance everything out, needs to run something like Azir mid to be your team's Tank Buster.
