What do you actually do vs Kennen as a melee champion in lane?

Kill him because his single target damage is atrociously bad.

He shits on bad players because they panic when they take damage and try to retreat, instead of trading, or they just eat shurikens all day. Most top lanes have something that out-ranges his auto attack and can dumpster 50%-60% of his health in a trade, if not kill him.
