As a jungler, I do what you feel is the right choice

When i jungle i mute pings and everyone on my team to focus on what i have to do to win the game even if i have to ignore my laners to do so. I will gank when i feel there is a chance for a kill, and i will ignore the lanes that want a gank just because they are frustrated in there lane. I make the calculated decisions in my head instead of doing something rash like trying to do a counter gank in a situation i know we wont win (like a 2v2 or a 3v3 against an elise or udyr jungle). Im not going to try to counter gank against someone like elise unless im extremely fed otherwise i will just die with my laner which will only set my laner and me behind as well. Yea, quite often i have to deal with the ungrateful teammates who only know how to bitch and whine, but im in it to win it, so if i have to sacrifice a lane that i know wont be able to make a comeback, i will do so. I will tower dive with the winning lanes and counter jungle when i have opportunities and ignore my laners when they keep back pinging me from the enemy jungle.

Just like how junglers dont tell laners how to lane, laners should not tell the jungler how to jungle or they will only go on tilt. Junglers are already under pressure to make the best choices so we dont need laners increasing the pressure by telling us what to do.

Now I understand why so many people don't react to pings and valuable information.

"tri warded"

jungler proceeds to fail gank through tri.

I thought they were illiterate, now I know they're just stupid and have muted their team from the start of the game.

thx OP

NP, i have already figured out i win more games with my team muted anyway, does not bother me if my team deems me as "stupid"

I do this same thing, but I don't actually mute people. I think there are times when they provide useful information. I generally don't type in chat, but I do read it unless it's just flame I ignore it. Laners will tell you when they get their opponents flash or something like that, and that can be useful for ganking, but I'm not going to gank just because someone tells me to gank them then proceeds to shove the enemy into their tower and asks you why they aren't getting any help.

Junglers don't tell laners how to lane?

Gee you must be a special race if you're the only category of players who doesn't tell others how to play.

Me telling someone else how to play wont make them have an epiphany on how to lane better, all it will do is put someone on tilt which will only make them play worse. <----- figured this out after 4+ (i think) years of experience. I used to type shit in chat, but now i dont even bother because i realized nothing will change.

I realize that. I just didn't like how you made it sound like only laners tell jg how to play and not the other way around.

Mb, when i make threads i tend to sound a little too one sided only because i dont want to make my threads a wall of text by speaking for both sides

i said i will do what i see is right, ganking a lb is not something i would deem as the right choice, i might come top, but it depends on the situation

The issue with jungling isn't ungrateful people. Its people who think its the junglers job to win them lane when, in reality, the junglers job is to snowball already winning lanes. If you're losing lane and the jungler ganks you, accept it as a gift, you don't actually deserve it. I have games as jg where I completely and 100% ignore top lane because either - they're too fed and theres no opportunities to get me fed off it (because the enemy top is under tower and we dont have dive potential, or other things) or they're feeding and I won't be able to accomplish anything more than force them back (and MAYBE get a flash). In cases like that, I go gank even or ahead lanes to snowball them into oblivion and win the game that way.

TL;DR: If you're losing lane, you aren't gonna get ganks. Not the jgs job to win you lane, its their job to snowball winning lanes.

I agree, but then my top laner will go on tilt and might just afk farm top lane all game. So i try to show i care about their lane by showing up just getting some harass down on the enemy i know we cant kill.
