she has been one of the most viable champs throughout the whole 3 seasons till today as far as I can remember.

We are currently half way through season 6. The last buff of any kind Diana received was her shield orb things spinning faster otherwise she hasn't really changed in a long time. What you're suggesting isn't possible unless you were already low and if you were already low then pretty much anyone could dive you and get out with zero items. Rod of Ages does not give you burst power, ever. In fact since the mage update it gives even less AP than before.

Ars Techne1 votesSounds like flat magic pen runes. Saw a Lux that did that once that sounds very close to this in damage. Its great early game but drops off hard late game, so it's not very viable except in games you expect to snowball very hard and win by 20-30. But to be fare, Diana is one of the biggest offenders of the "God or useless" syndrome. If you shut Diana down in the early game she wont be very effective till 30+ minutes. If she wins her lane, you can't stop her. And hence why i suspect the flat pen runes.
