Notice the difference? our older boarders are completly more detailed, more colourful, and more shinier, and this was the only reason why I have played ranked so much just to get a boarder for the loading screen. Now I feel like its not much value to care for anymore

I'm not liking how bland they look. I'd much prefer to keep the old borders - there isn't anything wrong with them. Riot, please stop trying to fix what isn't broken, because there are actual broken things that still need fixing.
The dots on the sides are ugly to be absolutely frank and I think that the borders have become a lot simpler over time. It is not something to be proud of anymore when you barely notice it.
The new one looks like Yu-Gi-Oh cards

At first, I was disappointed about not escaping bronze this season.
But then I saw the loading screen borders... You know, Bronze is actually not so bad, the more you think about it.

I for one welcome the change. They look cleaner.
Also its dumb that the higher rank you are... the less little dots you get, like wtf?
Not even sure why they're insisting on keeping the division + tier change. Most people I've talked to don't want they fact that they're not "1" in whatever rank advertised, and it can honestly make you feel shitty about what should be an accomplishment. And I've seen quite a few people harassed for being "5" in their division. All the way from Silver to Diamond. I'll actually send in a ticket to player support requesting to just not have a border this season if things stay this way. Definitely an all around fail.
Wow, it's like they got ironed down. Just like how all latest icons like Google Chrome & Windows 8 was.
New Master and Challenger look overall better than the current Challenger border, but that's about it.
I just prefer having the "light" effects on the plat and diamond borders we have right now. Gives it life. The others are meh.
For the new ones, the random dots on the side aren't actually that bad, but why do Master/Challenger lose them? ._. that's so confusing
Already mentioned this in another thread but yeah, holy smokes is this a downgrade. If they insist on keeping the division markers, it still looks way better on the old borders.

I'll be super disappointed if these "improved" ones make it to live. If the markers have to stay, at least just put them on the old ones.
The, ah, little circle dots on each side were an... interesting idea.
The dots look really out of place on the border. I'd rather them be removed and just keep the base.
how about make diamond border look like a diamond border? make it nice and shiny thats what i wanna see
