Notice the difference? our older boarders are completly more detailed, more colourful, and more shinier, and this was the only reason why I have played ranked so much just to get a boarder for the loading screen. Now I feel like its not much value to care for anymore

I mean its obvious to see which one has more detail put into it and fits ahri's style, its the same with new vs old katarina.

I really want to know why you would prefer these splashes? Old kat was legitimately being Raiden from Mortal Kombat Old Ahri was basically ¯_(ツ)_/¯ in the jungle. These two new splashes bring emphasis on the champion and dont let them blend in with the background IMO.

Most people I've talked to don't want they fact that they're not "1" in whatever rank advertised, and it can honestly make you feel shitty about what should be an accomplishment. And I've seen quite a few people harassed for being "5" in their division. All the way from Silver to Diamond. I'll actually send in a ticket to player support requesting to just not have a border this season if things stay this way. Definitely an all around fail.

I'll be super disappointed if these "improved" ones make it to live. If the markers have to stay, at least just put them on the old ones.

I just prefer having the "light" effects on the plat and diamond borders we have right now. Gives it life. The others are meh.
For the new ones, the random dots on the side aren't actually that bad, but why do Master/Challenger lose them? ._. that's so confusing

DrCyanide1 votesWhen they mentioned what the Ranked Rewards would be they posted that the boarders would have indicators for what division you were in. People mentioned not wanting it then and they said they'd talk about taking them out. Guess talks didn't go the way the players wanted.

yeah but what if they are actually going to release that live thinking we are completely fine with it? I can at least give out the opinion as to why I dont like it. Just like the splash arts on Ahri and katarina that riot has changed due to the playerbase complaining about it as well
