why has riot not addressed the issue with Dynamic queue yet?

literally everyday daily people here, the community, and other places complain about this, and most of the time takes up half of the discussions in the gameplay boards. Has riot not notice this at all? Even majority of the pro LCS players hate this new system. Where are the good old days of solo queue forging your on skills instead of being up against a team that is more complex, and a bunch of boosters? I would rather have a short queue time than a long one simply because of 2 limited queues you pick while rarely anyone would want to play support which is also the reason why the queue time is way longer..... and at high elo queue time is around like what? 30-45 minutes and after all that wait a bunch of diamond 5-1's get matched with a team group of challengers.

Give us solo queue back

They ignore it, because by doing so, people will eventually run out of patience and not post, and eventually people will stop complaining about dynamic queue, because they are used to it.

I've seen this community forget about a few things in the past but this DQ situation seems a lot worse than the other times. Literally every day since since solo queue left there have been multiple threads upvoted a day regarding this issue. I don't remember the last time I saw an uproar like this that lasted this long. Jungle timers, S6 snowball/pushing mechanics added had tons of people complaining but after a few weeks no one talked about it. Doesn't seem like people are gonna stop these DQ threads. Would be nice if Riot made some form of communication, because at this point it looks silly how they are avoiding discussing about this issue that is clearly frustrated a lot of people. Last I remember Riot saying they wanted to make DQ a better experience for solo players (how would they even achieve this?) and in some of my recent ranked games I've been on a team of solo players against a 3-5 premade. And each time that happens we get fucking destroyed.

I'd really like to know exactly what they are doing to make the experience better, because I was really hyped to play ranked this season, because last season I made it to Gold 4 which was a huge milestone because I was stuck in Silver 5 for almost a year when I started ranked - and I could clearly see MY improvement having influence on my games. I'm not really enjoying ranked this season because of these DQ situations I get put in where I feel I have little influence on the game. Especially the ones where I described above about having my team solo and the enemy premade. This season just doesn't feel good barely at all.

I'll start off by saying I agree, but that first part kinda rubs me the wrong way. Especially recently, do you think it's that the community forgot about certain controversial changes, or simply that we've given up trying to reason with or compromise with Riot as they steamrolled ahead with the changes anyway regardless of overwhelming negative feedback with the thought of "they'll get used to it or leave the game, who cares? More will take their place."

If it were season 3, I'd agree to that...but we're in season 6 and they've gone full-Blizzard, so yes, that's exactly what it looks and sounds like.

I'd say that's exactly the case. Because getting through to Riot is like trying to get through a stone slab that doesn't believe in sex before marriage. Countless great ideas and well thought out constructive feedback has, time and again been totally ignored despite Riot claiming "They always read it". But if that was the case then we'd likely have Champion icons as Mastery 7 rewards...

They do see. They dont care.

They dont care the people they copied it from went to solo/duo.

They dont care if 100% of the community and pros hate it.

It doesnt matter if they lose all the vets from the beta to season 3.

I want soloq back too as I think dynamic queue nullified the competitiveness of the ranked gaming experience. That being said, Riot will not implement soloq in season 6 simply from a business standpoint. They would be setting a certain precedent if they were to roll out a new gaming mode and then quickly get rid of it because some of the community showed a distaste for it on the boards. Doing this would show weakness and volatility. Furthermore, implementing soloq now would even further mess up mmr (dynamic queue has already screwed mmr up a lot) and it would require a reset almost. As bad as it sounds, we will just have to wait until season 7 to see what Riot does. If they do not bring back soloq in season 7, it is gone for good and we should move on to other games. Hang tight for now and hope for the best, but keep letting them know that we want soloq back.

They will most likely wait until next season to implement solo queue and remove dynamic queue. We have already been playing with the system for over half the season and removing it would mean resetting everyone's ranking since a lot of people's rankings have already been affected by dynamic queue. So I get you being angry and upset, I am unhappy with dynamic queue as well, but you should just know that you will most likely get solo queue s7. Keep on posting solo queue>dynamic queue threads however because Riot needs to know that the issue is still on our minds.

Solo queue needs to be solo, not damn duo. DQ is fine. Someone suggested both which is even a better idea.

The problem with all of these DQ posts is they assume that the goal here is a good, quality game that can be enjoyed by everyone.

It's not.

The goal, as far as I can tell, is to develop a product that will look attractive to a specific demographic (weaker learning curve and more "impactful" skills/button smashing) , and broadcasts well to further develop their esports franchise.

Not bad goals, but certainly not promising for the overall health of the game

Because what's there to gain addressing it right now?

It's clear they're either working on something for solo queue or working on a new queue or whatever. What would a "We hear you but we're working on it honest" accomplish other than piss people off? What would "We know some of ya'll are frustrated but we're not ready to share the new thing yet" give to players?
