Yasuo does has a strong early, mid, and late game

but, like many squishy melees that deal sustained damage (Riven MasterYi ), he is feast or famine. Sure, if he's even on farm and kills with the enemy carries and finishes his core without falling behind, he's going to have a strong mid and late game. The moment he's 0/2 and 20 cs behind, he will get blown up before he even gets in range to deal damage. As a frontline squishy that's extremely vulnerable to hard cc, there's virtually no way to comeback if you get significantly behind with the exception of a lucky ult.

Yasuo is a basically a paper tiger: he seems really strong, but once you understand how he works and learn to play around him he's actually on the weaker side.

The problem isn't that. The problem is his windows are tiny. His ult has a short CD and his Q and E make him really hard to deal with no matter who you are unless you are Malzahar. To top it off he has one of the best combinations of defensive abilities in the game (a decent personal shield and a shield that can protect him and his team from all projectiles and there are a lot of them). Sure the CD is decent, but as he ranks it up the windows go down. His kit needs bigger windows really. From his ult being on almost a 30s CD late game to his ability to infinite dash. I personally think he should spend his flow for wind wall or it needs to actually spawn in a set place and not instant spawn and drift forward. And then maybe look at nerfing his MS to 335 and removing his wind wall giving vision.

so does that mean that he needs buffs? why does every time a champion is preceived OP by a lot of people on the boards. the people in defense make him seem stupidly in need for buffs. there is no middle ground. he has an overloaded kit. and he hard counters a lot of champions. and also hes not squishie because of the shield he has.

People dont understand the game and lose against a flashy champ and find 100000x excuses to nerf said champion in anger, always was like that, will always be like that. Also low elo people with 20000 games on amumu jungle with first item deathcap still think they know how the game works and make "balance" threads. If malphite has 60% winrate people dont cry because they feel dumb for asking for nerfs for a simple champ. People around here in this board are silver players, mostly. You wont get logical reasoning from this people or some real arguments on this board, its normal, they just dont know how the game works. Ignore 99% of the balance threads and opinions around here, they are all trash, seriously. Some people around here would still nerf leblanc because she wins against them, hell I even saw nidalee nerf threads.

I actually understand the gut emotional response of "THING is horseshit, pls nerf," since there are several champions that have very stat-check-y kits, are non-interactive, and/or have inelegant design aspects that rub me the wrong way. Fortunately, I don't throw my lot in with those who start threads to air out their grievances because I can think things through and lack a burning need to have my own shitty opinions justified.
