What Veigar Needs Back

The ability to make plays again, instead of relying on the other team to mess up or have your teammates have to make the plays for you.

I think his new kit is acceptable other than one annoying bit: W still relies on your stun to land. It isn't big enough to hit champions running around in Veigar's E. It isn't fast enough to hit champions that aren't CC'd. Veigar has no other CC; he has no way to land his W without allied help or considerable misplays by the enemy.

I'd be fine with Riot nerfing W's damage, cooldown, etc. if Veigar could actually use it without allied CC. Honestly, I'd be fine with a completely new W since Riot doesn't seem to want to do anything about the current one.

Increase the AoE on Veigar's W such that it fills up the whole area instead his stun cage if he drops it right in the middle, but if someone dives into the wall and gets stunned, it'll miss.

He needs added reliability yes but he shouldn't get his old stun back.

Not many people want the old stun back, personally I like the idea of his stun being faster the closer it is to him. The reason I use to enjoy playing him is if someone jumped on him you could instant stun them and punish them. Now if someone jumps on you... your dead.

Well the problem is that the way his kit is now the only 2 spells that can be tweaked substantially without major damage nerfs are q and e. For the amount of damage w and r do you couldn't add reliability without making the skill somewhat less predictable. So what do you propose?
