Matchmaking can't be rigged, loljk

4/5 games today I have a lane(s) where someone dies 3 times before level 6, then rages, then keeps on feeding out of frustration due to being called out for it by other teammates, just to prove how much they can harm the team if others don't stop hurting their feelings.

Add in a game where I had to dodge because someone was going to troll because his Katarina got banned.

Totally a coincidence that I just got promoted and was right after a winning streak.

It's not like all of them statistically have higher average death count than usual. It's not like all of them are ought to have bad standing due to reports. It's not like all of them have bad win ratios due to their total behaviour.

They will just all be on your team, over and over again, until the match system is satisfied and you get to go back to having the great teammates that I've had the pleasure of playing with.

I'm trying really hard to not think that there is something fishy, but as right now I'm heading towards a game where I'll be having a support Lee Sin for a nice 5th lose due to someone actively working against my team's interests, my doubts are all but evaporating.

I can understand that you're pissed, but why do you always complain? You're never objective, only bitching.

Should I be happy for Riot making me lose more faith in humanity whenever their algorith decides it's time to play with emotionally unstable soon to be psychopaths?

No, but you being always negative and acting like riot's program would go out of it's way to fuck you up isn't logical, it's just you being high on salt.

Sorry, I'm a human being who makes conclusion based on empyrical evidence.

When I see nothing else other than blocks of games split between good and bad teammates, with very distinct differences and lines of transition, then yes, Riot is fiddling with the code.

When a mixed bag becomes the norm and streaks (win/loss) based SOLELY on teammate attitude (i'm so tilted eks dee, I won't bother having map awareness from now) become an outlier that happens rarely, then I might reconsider.

Empirical Evidence is not always accurate, as results and experiences vary upon a wide array of factors. Additionally such evidence can become corrupted by confirmation bias.

Sometimes you get unlucky. The system doesn't care who is on a win-streak or a loss-streak when determining who to match, it bases it solely on MMR. Thus it is possible while on a win-streak to get matched with someone (or several someones) with the same MMR as you but who is (are) on their way down the ladder with a loss-streak.

Should the system be changed to consider this when determining matchmaking? Possibly.

Is the system intentionally screwing you over with it? No.

Wish the forums wasn't used only for incessant bitching.
