Just another reminder that Thresh and Leona have dominated the support picks for 2 years

In both playrate and winrate (mainly Leona for winning)

Meanwhile if a support who has a heal on their kit get's played with semi-popularity, instantly nerfed Somehow spending your entire mana (or health) bar to heal a significant amount is much more unhealthy then getting pounced on with little to no options to stop it

They both need a clear cut weakness much like Blitzcrank received with his overdrive slow being reimplemented

http://champion.gg/champion/Janna What about her? Every season she's always one of the supports dominating. No matter the "meta", her win rate has always been over 50%, even after nerfs. She's once again winning against all supports but one, as usual. Don't see you complaining about her.

there is nothing wrong with leona.

the problem with thresh is, that hes good at everything. aggression and passive play. he can either ensure the survival of his carry with the lantern, without putting himself at risk, or he can throw himself into the front lines.

but leona is a pretty much strictly aggressive support and very difficult to play effective when behind.

Oh my god, my friend and I have been saying that since Thresh game out and Leona is equally terrible after level six. They have so many options to set up kills/tankiness and it comes with little to no weakness. One could say they have to put themselves in the middle of the fray, but lawd jeebus, maybe that's why they're designed to be tanky with stuns/slows.

... I'm a little bitter toward both champs. item 3070

no, thats just it. LEONA has to put herself into the middle of the opponents to be effective. otherwise she has only her ult to work with.

thresh doesnt. he can play passive if he wants to. if hes ahead, he can play aggressive and dive into the frontlines, if he and his carry are behind, he can play passive and is still very effective at saving his teammate due to his lantern.

for leona to peel or engage, she always has to jump into the frontlines, which makes it close to impossible for her to play passive. if shes behind, she often doesnt have a choice but to trade her life for that of her carry. while thresh doesnt have to put himself at risk to save someone.

idk about you but my Sona playrate has remained more or less constant.... i sometimes stray to other champs and to other positions, but she is my main and the main source of my fun in this game..... so that being said....

it hurts having to play against these other popular champs so often, but i remind myself i am having fun, and that riot balances at plat + the give or take 10% of players.... so it dosent really matter what most sona players do... we are not competitive, because riot made us noncompetitive but hey... we are fun =^D and nice....

most sona mains i met are nice so thats something!

woot Sona
