Still trying to figure out why riot will not just revert malz

Seriously the new design is in a worse spot than the old one.

The only thing that the post-rework malzahar offers is a cheesy jungle option, every other aspect of the champion is just unreliable and terrible.

People use to complain about malzahar's combo, which needed to be nerfed, but now he is literally useless without constantly comboing, and even then, he is only powerful once his voidlings reach a critical mass, which will drop off to 0 DPS every 12 seconds, before it takes another ~5 seconds to reach a decent size again

They arent going to revert it because it was a good change, no, not a bad change, not an overpowered changed, a good change. and it makes it all the more true because you must have lost to one xD love new Malzahar

Actually no this is the complete opposite of the reason i want the revert. It's not because i lost to one. It's because I use to play him. He is a fucking grotesque abomination of the old AD and AP play styles, which just doesn't work.

His gameplay completely lacks player agency and it effectively works or fails to work without any real amount of player dependency. I was all for AD malzahar before the rework, now they completely fucking gutted it, because it's quite literally just a weaker way to play malzahar, because it doesn't scale for shit and your voidlings are still 80% of your DPS even if you went AP! The only difference is that now, your voidlings are your ONLY source of damage.

I can go 15/4 get an S+ and still feel like i did nothing, just as much as i can go 1/10 and feel like there was nothing more i could've done. It's simply a terribly designed kit which lacks a complementary interactions. To the point that they had to add direct ability interaction so that it wasn't so shit. Which is where the lack of player agency comes from, because there is no decision making anymore, you literally just go through the motions and wait for the outcome
