The hunted monster camps either give or deny a lot of free power for Kindred completely based on RNG, and it's kind of unfair (especially for competitive play). I think the first mark should be one of the two Rift Scuttlers, the second mark should be an enemy jungle camp on the same side of the map that you're currently on, and the last marks up to 6 should be a mark on the opposite side.
Flyer Beast1 votesMarks prioritize rift scuttlers if they are alive, and then they move onto a random jungle camp on the enemy side, which is never blue or red buff. After 6 stacks they mark epic monsters.

Valexfor1 votesMaybe you just didn't know scuttler was dead, if it is dead but you don't know the mark shouldn't appear. Unless you are talking about first marks, then I don't know what to say other than usually seeing scuttler (some times raptors for some strange reason) as first mark when I have a kindred against me.
