10 reason why your jungler don't wanna gank for you

The Deckowner··119 votes·7,985 views
  1. You already fed your lane opponent
  2. You and the jungler got little to no cc
  3. You pushed your lane too far
  4. You are low in hp/mana
  5. The bush is warded
  6. Other lanes are simply better/easier options to gank
  7. You raged at your jungler
  8. Your jungler think you aren't worth ganking(for example, if you are playing Brand and started item 1055 , your jungler probably think you are either mentally ill or trolling, both of which means ganking for you is not worth the time and risk)
  9. You jungler is behind and need to farm up
  10. Your jungler haven't reached their power spike(for example Warwick need lv6 to gank)

  1. You yelled and blamed your jungler for you dying at 3min and him not ganking before he even cleared his 1st 3 camps.

When this happens i assume the lane is a lost cause. too bad they typically don't know about the concept of farming near/under tower

Fistheal6 votes

This. This all day all night. What do people not get about having a tower to keep u safe. The 0/6/0 guy ragin at team while hes past the minions with the other team off the map. Honestly this is my biggest peeve in the game

tidegate2 votes

If he 0 6 even teemo is tower diving him so your jungler or someone should be desperately trying to help his sorry ass

macromite4 votes

the question here is, why is he 0 and 6. when he was 0 and 2 he should've gone turtle. hell man when he was 0 and 1 he should've gone turtle.

You'd think after their 7th death they'd think "Hmm... Maybe.... Maybe I'm doing something wrong here."

Towers don't keep you safe this Season. They tickle against anyone with ANY health right now

Elikain3 votes

Towers have gotten buffed in 6.9.

NsEternal4 votes

not enough to be effective tho.

Elikain5 votes

Let's be fair here: what would you imagine happening if towers were as strong as Fountain Lasers? It's fair to take this approach and see if they further need buffs rather then make them too strong and have the opposite effect - from games ending abruptly with few mistakes to games never ending because you can't destroy the first turrets.

Honestly, the buffs were more than fair. I am not sure what were you expecting but having someone get killed from just one turret shot is not acceptable either. Tower buffs were majorly focused on turret diving with pals, where turrets switching focus won't reset the stacking damage buff and they ramp up in one shot less than before (from 4 to 3). They also have an early game damage resistance buff to every type of damage and also protection from backdooring. Turret gold has also been reduced in general, for tier 1 and 2 turrets.

NsEternal1 votes

I think you're over exaggerating what i meant by buffing them. i dont want them to do more damage i just want them to have more armor and hp at earlier levels. the fact of the matter is the towers are basically are as strong as cardboard pre 10 mins and are basically useless after that. When it comes to the 30 min mark then it becomes understandable that youre now powerful enough to be protecting the towers rather than the other way around.

Elikain1 votes

#Turret Stats Turrets are more durable, outer & inner turrets are more threatening, mages and assassins are better able to damage turrets.

Outer & inner turret damage

HEATING UP - Turret damage increases by 37.5% for the second and third shots against champions, then 25% for the following two against a single champion (resets on target change) ⇒ 40% for the first three shots. STAY HOT - “Heating up” damage no longer partially resets when turrets switch targets. MAX DAMAGE - 225% over four shots ⇒ 220% over three shots.

Defensive stats

BASE HEALTH 4000 ⇒ 3300 BASE ARMOR 0 ⇒ 40 BASE MAGIC RESISTANCE 0 ⇒ 40 TURRET PENETRATION - Turrets are now subject to armor and magic penetration effects.

Fortification

Outer turret early-game defensive buff now applies to non-champion sources as well. FORTIFIED - Blocks 30 damage from champion basic attacks ⇒ 35% damage reduction from all sources.

Reinforced armor Turret backdoor bonus now grants damage reduction instead of resistances. BONUS ARMOR AND MAGIC RESISTANCE - No longer grants 200 armor and magic resistance. DAMAGE REDUCTION - Physical and magic damage is now reduced by 66.66%.

#This is from 6.9 patch notes. #It looks like to me, a straight durability and damage buff to turrets. So, your comparison to cardboard is wrong. They're more like a solid brick walls, compared to what they used to be - especially in the first 10-15 minutes of the game.

NsEternal1 votes

i dont think youve been playing as long as i have but w.e it doesnt really matter because neither of us have the ability to change it. they got buffed you did point that out im just not convinced havbing been playing the game for 4 years that theyre in the right spot in terms of early game effectiveness.

Elikain1 votes

I played lol since the beta, that's 7 years. Just putting it out there. And with that in mind, i don't think i'm any more qualified than you to debate this question. The point was the turrets were buffed. Whether this wasn't enough will require time to see clearly, as Riot never wants to make last minute changes to the game that can have an impact in prolonging the game substantially.

We both remember the Marksmen update, where the average game time was reduced by a few minutes. That was a huge deal but Riot was making the changes in that direction. Now imagine if they didn't do their homework and overbuffed turrets so that the average game time goes up about 10+ minutes. That would've completely screwed things up and the games would feel very different because everything would've been delayed for an additional 10 minutes.

I'm completely OK with them not buffing something enough and then buffing it gradually until it's fair because this way, you will always have better experience than before, as opposed to overbuffing them and feeling like you can never finish a game if 5 people are not whaling on a turret to do any meaningful damage.

Just my opinion.

NsEternal2 votes

well at least we can come to an understanding on that point, only time will tell and we will just have to wait. But nice to see a thing like this not blow up in rage and arrogance and us just shouting and raging at each other. so im glad for that I Just want towers to be buffed for the reasons of it making tower dives a calculated and skill orientated move rather than it just be somethign just about anyone could do. I would like the game in general to be slightly more difficult so it brings a skill aspect back to the game that its gradually losing.

Pupel32 votes

My favorite is when i am 3/0/3 at 13 min because i stayed bottom side to camp mid and top but my top laner goes 0/6/0 in lane and whines that i didn't gank. Yeah bro it sux but chill we got you

PB4UAME2 votes

Eh, it really depends, in some instances, a top and jungler getting those 6 kills are worth more than you, mid and your bot splitting an equal amount of kills. Particularly if they can get any towers/rift off of it as well, and your mid or bot don't get their towers down.

Troll for Trump6 votes

Yeah, but don't complain when the Irelia 6/0 comes in,sweeps everything, and then you proceed to blame top.

-12 You took my buff

Canidae22 votes

Just so U know. IT GOES BOTH WAYS.

10 reasons why your midlaner want the jungler to stay the heck out of the lane:

  1. You already fed the midlaner's lane opponent
  2. You and the midlaner have little to no cc
  3. You pushed the lane too far as "tax" without resetting it putting the lane has been frozen in an unfavorable spot and forcing the midlaner to miss cs that made up for the gold gained from the gank (if it was even successful)
  4. You are low in hp/mana and will just feed
  5. The bush is warded
  6. Other lanes are simply better/easier options to gank
  7. You raged at your midlaner after being back-pinged repeatedly before and during the previous failed gank
  8. Your midlaner thinks that U are awful at ganking (cause U are)
  9. You are behind and need to farm up
  10. Your midlaner haven't reached their power spike (for example Ryze needs some form of mana items to not go completely oom and have to back after an engage)
Athenes Lulu7 votes

More like any lane in general, not just mid.

Nekusen16 votes

You pushed your lane too far

the laner is constantly sieging the enemy tower he gets ganked complains "omg, my jungler never ganks for me"

https://imgflip.com/s/meme/Jackie-Chan-WTF.jpg

Also: 11. Because you refused to leash/ward buff

Bodkins Odds9 votes

I have the opposite problem a lot of the time. My support and I will have the enemy bot lane hiding behind their tower like bitches as we slowly whittle it's health down, and then my jungler will try to gank us anyway instead of ganking top or something useful like that.

Supreme Senpai697 votes

Then they tower dive and the enemy gets a triple kill and it's your fault lol. Like bro we don't need ganks go help mid.

tidegate6 votes

Yep, I'm top and pinned under my tower for first 12 minutes but then my jungler comes as soon as I get lane control back and tries to dive and just gives a kill away

This is 80% of the complainers for me. Its like dont PUSH SO FAR AND MEBBE I CAN GANK BRO.

Support's guide to [almost] always getting ganks from your jungler.

  • Bard 3 health packs in their jungle.

  • Soraka Sona Nami Start heal. After they finish their first camp, go back and top them off (before they finish killing the second one).

  • Taric Your tether range is longer than the experience share range. Meaning you can shield them repeatedly during their first 3 camps without stealing anything.

  • Braum Alistar Galio Nautilus Illaoi Malphite Maokai Shen Sion TahmKench Volibear Tank their first camp for them. That way they can start their second camp at almost full health (still leave before they smite).

  • Ekko Start stun. Tank camp.

  • Fiddlesticks Start Drain. Tank camp.

  • Janna Start shield. Tank camp. Shield them as soon as they start their second one.

  • Zilean Tell them when you can level them up. When they arrive, actually level them up.

  • When ganks arrive: Don't F it up. Don't sacrifice/abandon the jungler. If you're not reasonably able to follow-up, Tell them. It will save everyone a lot of trouble and the jungler will appreciate you not wasting their time.

  • Ensure your ADC has been properly trained on jungle ganking procedures. (Remember, you are responsible for keeping your ADC under control. You will be held legally liable for any damage/harm cause by them. For reference: see Rift leash laws; Volume 3, section 2, chapter 12, page 874.)

Can we also acknowledge that sometimes the Jungler is the rager or troll, or whatever you wanna call it? Even junglers can be dbags.

lolptwo5 votes

Number 7: The reason why Jungler will never climb past Gold. Let his poor little emotions get in the way of making rational concrete decisions.

Imagine if every Basketball player didn't pass to his open teammate because he "didn't like him, and he offended him". Sounds like some childish gr.2 bullshit.

Gank lanes that need to be/can be ganked.

All the other reasons are legit though.

Even challenger junglers often refuse to give help to laners who flames/trolls/be toxic. At these cases it really doesn't matter if ganking for that laner is good or not, it's not worth ganking. Because that guy is not gonna be the guy who win you the game, but instead the one who spam ff@20 because your team is 2 kills behind and cry /all report noob team.

General Esdeath 4 votes

Reasons your jungle should come anyway

  1. Create pressure and spook the other laner

We don't need a kill, just walk close enough that the other guy walks back

Spreek5 votes

Sometimes it's worth. But you have to keep in mind that "pressuring" one lane also takes all pressure off the other lanes and gives the enemy jungler free reign to do stuff elsewhere.

So IMO it's rarely worth ganking if you don't realistically have a chance at killing the enemy.

General Esdeath 1 votes

You don't have to gank, just walk up near their wards while you're killing scuttle or on your way to gromp/krugs.

rtbf221479704 votes

It's more complicated than that. You don't wanna give away your position if you don't know where the enemy jungler is. Basically lets them free gank another lane. But if they just went back or fail ganked then you can apply pressure by revealing yourself.

bulldoggamer2 votes

Revealing your position is not smart unless you get something of equal or greater value in reward. Also the best junglers right now are the ones who are efficient with their time. Wasting time just for a little pressure is very rarely worth it right now. Instead you could be warding their jungle or racking up gold and experience for those important mid game team fights.

Lil Gr33n Ghouls2 votes

In my elo I'll tell my laner that's losing and is low on health to just farm while I harass the enemy a bit, then I'll Zac E at the enemy and to create some space for my laner to farm a wave and they will all in with flash and every thing and say "wow shit jng ff@20" when they die.

The Deckowner2 votes

Not always worth it. In many cases you want to keep your jungle pathing secret, showing your face in a lane only to scare the enemy isn't worth the risk of other side of your jg being cleared or other lanes get gank for free.

I dunno where this "brilliant" thought started but it really needs to be nipped in the bud. You should never be going to a lane just to "create pressure". Showing your position takes pressure off all the other lanes and give the enemy jungler free reign to gobble up objectives. Not to mention wastes time better spent farming / ganking elsewhere.

If you're not able to actually gank a lane you should be somewhere else doing something more productive than sitting on a ward so your laner can get 2 free CS while their laner backs.

Supreme Senpai692 votes

I've seen more bad junglers than good junglers who don't gank even when all lanes are pushed under their own tower, who haven't gotten a single dragon even though we ward them, and is still somehow underleveled and 0/6 because they won't stop invading the enemy jungle to counterjungle.

Sometimes I'll see a jungler that won't gank my lane and it's my fault. Maybe 5% of my games this happens. That's fine and honestly most of the time I don't need or expect ganks. But the whole 'jungler can do no wrong' attitude doesn't excuse the other 95% lol.

tidegate5 votes

The best is when the other jungler is 5 ganks ahead of yours and they're winning in cs. Its like bruh where you been

10Tickler2 votes

Trying to Farm so SOMEONE scales this game, all while avoiding and dodging their Jungler, keeping our own Jungle warded, because laners don't know how to Collapse against an invade

PB4UAME3 votes

Note the "They're [the enemy jungler] winning in cs." With that in mind, they clearly haven't been trying to farm, as the enemy jungler is able to gank 5 times (quite a bit of farming time, no?) and is still ahead.
