Why nerf Jhin when....
all you really needed to do is make
melee only?
all you really needed to do is make
melee only?
isn't why jhin was such a strong pick.
isn't why jhin is so strong.
Just out of curiosity why is he strong? I mean everyone says that but I personally have never had a problem with him. The only thing I've really noticed is if he ults and its only you, then you are dead but if you have ur team they can shot block and diverse the damage. But plenty of characters have crazy situational ults, so is there another reason?
He can snowball an early lead extremely quickly because his passive gives him so much damage. It's the main reason he's strong in my eyes.
His kit offers a lot of utility, as well as a lot of damage. His ult is on a short cd (longer now that they removed the cd reduction for not using all 4 shots) and offers 4 chances to slow, as well as deal massive damage. he has a long range stun/slow his traps slow and can deal significant damage his passive can be self peel or chase and his grenades can deal some decent multi target damage.
Because Jhin was strong even without it. Duskblade and Ghostblade just made it even more stupid.
all you really needed to do is make
melee only?
You suggesting that this item should be ripped from ADCs, because it's an Assassin item, pretty much on the grounds that the two can't be reconciled.
That would be the a problem only if Any ADC could pick it up and become an Assassin. (Just like how any mage could pick up DFG, maybe they should have made that Melee only instead of removing it.)
Yet that could cause issues for an ADC who is already an off Assassin. (Vayne, Twitch) And I would actually thrown Jhin into that list, Even if you complain about ADC's being Assassins, Jhin is already an Assassin in a compelling way. I.e. He's a Sniper, a better one than Caitlyn (There, I said it) because Snipers are Assassins.
And even if the item did disproportionately affect Ranged champions, you can use soft restrictions to balance them without completely eliminating the possibility space.
