So is Ekko intended to have the ability to ult back after recalling?

I have seen many many videos on Ekko. The champion looks pretty well made and amazing, but I couldn't help to notice that your ultimate shadow thingy that follows you stays where you just were for a few seconds right after recalling, so you can press R and go all the way back? Is this intended or is it something you guys are looking to change? With homeguards you can regen a decent amount of HP and get back to where you were across the map. I don't know i just find that a little too excessive for his strengths. Just imagine the backdoor strats though XD. You think i'm recalling? Yes I am, but now I am back!

Yes it's intended, it's not as broken as you think it is however. If you don't have homeguards, or aren't already semi-healthy, you cannot do it. It's also a big waste of damage and survivability so I don't see why it'd be an issue.

_ Chronobreak comes packed with plenty of utility, too - if he’s nimble enough, Ekko can simply hit his ult to escape from deadly gank situations, or just return to lane if he’s a speedy shopper after recalling. _

ya, as intended, although the champ being on pbe means he can be changed before going live

I've played Ekko a few times, but he seems really complicated. He definitely has a lot of potential, but will be nerfed really hard. He also lowers my FPS by a ton, I hope that gets fixed.

I believe his state is pretty balanced in terms of damage and mechanics. He is going to dominate the first week or two because people will still be learning how to fight him which is actually not that difficult since he requires going extremely ham and not using his ult in a fight greatly hinders his damage.

He still does massive damage without his R. From my observations, he does really well fighting in the closed spaces of the jungle, where you don't have room to dodge Qs and it's easier to set up Ws. He gets absurdly bursty late game, and immobile champions get wrecked by him very hard.
