I think double lanes might make a comeback

With the recent jungle changes making only a few camps matter, It's possible we might see some new strategies arise like one I tried for a few games.

I took Pyke jungle and grabbed smite item 1039. Took blue, red, scuttle, backed and then snagged item 3859 before supping my top/midlaner and leaving regularly when clearing red/blue/scuttle/dragons/ect.

did fairly well I gotta say. Enemy top+mid had no chance and enemy jg couldn't really help enemy toplaner as well as I could so all skirmishes were won by my team for the most part.

So could be a new strategy coming out with the jungle changes destroying a lot of the gold+xp gains.

So... exp in jg is fucked so let's fuck toplane instead?

So... what you are telling me is that when you play against bad people this might work but as soon as anyone with half a brain comes they'll punish you like crazy? Because I have no idea how their jungler just didn't just completely destroy your bot lane or took over every single bit of jungle and objectives while you were doing nothing but steal exp and making your solo laners fall behind in lvls.

It is closer to viable with the right champions (some are hurt to badly by reduced XP/Gold), but I doubt it will become a big thing. Especially for challenger / pro play. As to why, lets just remember that Mordekaiser was pick/ban at season 5 worlds because he got slightly more XP in the duo lane and therefore hit level 6 before the enemy laners.
