Simple fix for ZAC

DeusVult··1 votes·352 views

Since his rework, getting almost double the amount of cc that he had before but retaining most of his damage, ZAC has been a top pick/ban even in pro play. A lot of this has been from the power of his early ganks where he E's in, but even if you dodge it, he Qs a minion and uses the extended auto range to bring you back.

A simple fix for this would be if ZACs Q only gave the second part if he landed the skillshot on a champion or a large/epic monster. That way ZAC has to land a skillshot in order to cc you, but he can still use it in the jungle, or auto a minion in lane if he lands the skillshot on you during a gank

One and only fix, that will do good for all of us - complete revert Zac rework

Well I think both parts should have to hit champions. I don't think it matters either way if you make it to where either the skillshot has to hit the champion, or if it hits a minion, then attack a champion. The order doesn't really matter except that extra damage if the skillshot hit the champion. The problem is it has too much range and/or uses your own minion wave against you as a form of CC. Yasuo's mobility in your minion wave is different because it's not CC (CC helps a lot in ganks/teamfights).

I think BOTH parts of the Q should have to hit only champions for the CC to work. Maybe they should add a slow on it for when ganking solo lanes. Or they need to reduce the distance it takes for the enemy to escape it. Another possibility is keep the CC the same as live but make it only available if Zac lands his E. The problem with Zac is even if Zac misses his hard engage with E, you are still screwed because of his Q. Zac needs to be punished for being outplayed.

OK, let me fix something with your initial statement, then you can update your post. Zac lost over 60% of his ultimates potential damage. I don't think any champion has ever lost that much damage in an ability before. That, and every ability he has does less damage then pre rework. All of them. So, take a minute, update your post, because when you say he retained most of his damage, it just makes your post sound ill informed.

Also, most of the time, I only get the CC on my Q if I hit a champion first. The range on his auto attack means you have to be really close, and usually people are running away from you. That, and the tether lasts a paltry 2 seconds making it even harder. A proper change would be to revert his ultimate, as his current ultimate is one of the least fun abilities to be on the wrong side of.
