If you're going to dodge a game, don't do it with 0 seconds left. The game will start and if you don't log back in, thinking you've dodged, you've just ruined a game for everyone else playing.

Take this fucking gem of a game as an example. The guy didn't like our teamcomp, so he just left. He probably didn't know the game had started, so he fucked us all over.

An integrated dodge button into the client would be helpful.

There are serious times when you need to dodge. If you think playing a game with a teemo top kha jungle some troll mid etc is better than dodging youre not in touch

Teemo already has a super easy peasy jungle clear. Not super fast early, but fast enough and he can trap enemies + control the map. With red smite he deals tons of damage etc. His only problem are the typical Teemo problems, Syndra mid f.e., as long as she knows you're there you'll never be able to normally approach her. But his kit isn't too bad in the jungle.

True, I don't doubt you on that, but I meant perhaps rework him to better go with his thematic of a scout but tailor his kit to be used mainly as a jungler, because the scout/vision/zone control (via shrooms) role might be a good niche to put him into. Plus I think he needs a new model.

Yeah, that might be nice actually. I mean, I still have a lot of fun with this trolly Yordle, but he just completely lacks an identity and role in the game. If they'd find a way to preserve this "Teemo feeling", but also making him less toxic (gameplay wise^^) and more viable would be nice.

What I wanted to say before: Just try him out in the jungle one time :D I've had an instant 10 game win streak when I first play him jungle Teemo

I have played him jungle, in fact, and I thought it was awesome. I thought he performed better in the jungle than he did in lane because he has unlimited wards to give to his teammates. Plus I think he works best when he is allowed to roam constantly. I originally started playing Teemo more often because he was the only one I could win a game with, so he was the first one to get to mastery level 5.

Like you said, the toxic gameplay is something that needs to change. He isn't oppressive, but he is annoying, and he performs well against those who he counters or goes even against, but is non-existent if he is against his counters because he can't do anything against them.

Teemo top works just fine. I play Teemo support with great success but my MMR probably isn't exactly diamond tier.

I'm not saying Teemo is garbage-tier, but a lot of the champs that go top lane bring more to the table than Teemo does in the top lane, and they can easily zone Teemo out of getting a lot of farm and gold. Teemo support has its moments, but it isn't exactly known for working most of the time. However, Teemo jungle offers a lot of help from his shrooms acting as wards, and slowing down the enemy jungler from trying to gank.

I don't know, I just feel like Teemo needs an identity that works with his scout character, and also fill a role besides "be an annoying little shit that puts these tactical nukes all over the map".

You described a situation that does not warrant a dodge at all. I'm guessing that your idea of a "troll mid" would be something semi viable, ie. Illaoi mid, Lee Sin mid.

Viable if you're in trash elo. If you play at Plat 4+ that kind of shit will get you free losses, unless the player is a challenger smurf but even then chances are low

I'd be fine with an integrated dodge button if the lost LP from the dodger was distributed among the enemy team. They apparently 'won' at pick/bans so hard that someone surrendered before the game started and they deserve a reward for 'winning' in that fashion.

No need to wait until there are 0 seconds left. Once the final champ has been locked, you should know if you will dodge or not, thus dodging w/ a good 25 seconds or so left.. The few times I do dodge though, I do log back in to see where my dodge timer is sitting which also confirms the dodge :)

People wait until the last second because they're hoping someone else is going to dodge or they're trying to waste as much of everyone's time as possible. Both actions are childish.

i had this happen with me sometimes, to be honest my net connection is good most of the time and the worst in the rest (its one of the reasons i dont play ranked), sometimes in champ select i've lost connection and i thought i dodged the game so i'm not even gonna log in because of the 5 min ban... turns out game started and it sucks to play the match knowing you cant do squat and have to hope an ally carries your ass

to show how much effort you can put in while still losing. since we were down a player, our support had to roam top. this allowed the soraka to roam into other lanes, usually the one I was in. I put in so much effort to try to hold out for fiora coming back, landing so many of my skillshots, but it just wasn't enough
