What is this warped concept of skill in this community?

How can people rationalize the idea that doing more on a champion with more is higher skill than doing more on a champion with less?

This doesn't make any sense.

Elaborate?

I have no idea what the fuck you are saying in your post because it doesn't make any sense. I'll need an example or something

Ok, most people consider this statement to be true.

successful LeeSin ganks require more skill than Diana ganks. Why is that, when lee sin has more in his kit which aid him in ganking?

I have never heard anyone ever say that. Lee Sin ganks require more skill to pull off than diana ganks because all she needs is a point and click R and an E. Lee sin needs to at least land a skillshot and possibly even line up his ult properly.

She points and clicks to jump to the target, lee points and clicks to jump to a ward. Except diana needs to land her Q, with a much more awkward hit box, than lee to have more than her single dash, and she lacks the same CC that lee has on his ult to secure the kill.

Also, you asked for an example, i used one which best expressed what i'm talking about, not one which might be very common.

skill = my jungler was better than you, noob l0rd 0/3 in lane.

and also the classic carried by duoq/trioq meta

What OP is saying is that being good on champs with a perceived higher skillcap just because they have more tools to use does not make you any better than guys who play champs that have simple kits.

ie being better on lee sin doesnt make you better than a guy playing warwick

Champs with simple one-dimensional kits instead rely more on game knowledge to win games rather than constant insec plays.

and yet constantly you will hear people say that WW takes no skill and lee sin is one of the highest skill champions in the game.

I mean, irl if you're capable of doing more things, then chances you're more skilled than someone else because you've probably put more effort into learning how to do something. However, in video games that doesn't hold true, because different characters are often made incapable of preforming the same actions as another character, no matter how hard the player tries.

It's like the more the devs define a character, the less skill it requires to play the character, because you are just the system of input, making very few actual decisions and just going by the script.

I know where you're comimg from. It's most likely due to inexperience, ignorance, bias, or a combination of them.

The other day, I saw a thread with people arguing that Udyr is easier to win games with than Lee Sin. LoL is a completely different experience, based on the level of play one is at, so it's not unusual to see such opposing opinions on this topic.
