Bot Lane deserves more experience

Darth West··5 votes·810 views

It's sad when Jungle, Top, & Mid are all lvl 6-8 while Bot Lane is lvl 5. This puts Bot Lane at a extreme disadvantage, which makes getting gankbanged more easier then it should be.

Whenever the Top gets fed he will most likely come Bot Lane although he is lvl 9 and Bot Lane is lvl 6-7, you will get deleted and you can't do shit about it.

Please raise the experience, I see no logical reason as to why Bot Lane should get crippled just because they are a duo. I'm sure it's possible.

You want more experience?

Go play a solo lane.

There should be no exp boost. The fact that there is makes solo vs duo a major headache for the solo who does not get a noticeable exp advantage and has to more often than not pass on a large amount of CS as well.

Riot could have solved the lane swap issue by removing the shared exp boost and providing supports another way to get exp which in turn would push them more towards being a position that will roam but instead decided to double down on the issues by making bot turret weaker and adding a first turret gold enforcing a 1/1/2 meta.

Have to agree that riot picked a rather bad way to solve the lane swapping issue.

So something like,

item 3303 item 3301 item 3302 If you are within 'x' range of a teammate, you both gain bonus experience. Once you finish the gold earned quest, this passive is removed.

Idk what the implications of doing so would be.

Thats the trade off of being a duo lane. And lol is pretty generous giving the duo lane 65% of the experience for adc and supp. Other games just straight divie it up.

typo on percentage

I agree that it's generous of them, but it should be raised just a little if anything.

Jungle, Mid, & Top are all higher levels throughout the whole game.

I've seen a support/adc in the Pro Leagues be only lvl 16-15 while everyone else is 18.

no you dont understand. A adcs are the duo lane because they scale with items better than lvls as well as being weak initially. In lol the duo gets 65% in dota the duo would get 50%. also if you kill someone that is a higher lvl you get quite a bit of expieriance.

Kinda the point to this is, your going to shake up the bot lane meta. If the duo lane got the same level of XP as the solo laners, the meta will shift to caster oriented bot laners.

Not to mention, if they added those mechanics, Running a duo top lane, may become more XP efficient than having a dedicated jungler.

I think the better option is to simply increase those rubber band mechanics, so even if they become 2 levels behind, they don't stay 2 levels behind.

what mechanics are you referring too. currently 2 people in a lane gives 65% minion kill xp to both lanes. And a tri lane gives 40%.

Rubber band mechanics simply refers to mechanics that allow the players who are behind to catch up.

This is an example of a Rubber band mechanic. Granting higher XP on killing someone far greater than yourself.

I know what rubber band mechanics are. You stated that "if they added those mechanics" that was the mechanics i was referring to.

It's fine.

Supports get additional exp upon assists and new coin levels you up for free.

Bot lane is volatile to ganks but harder to gank because you have two people hitting you, supports commonly also take exhaust which can mitigate early game ganks very well.

ADCs don't really need the experience because they scale well with items and even if they fall behind in experience they ramp up a lot of damage.

I am a relatively new player. But I hate this expression "They scale with items not levels." Everyone enjoys levels. This is especially true in mid-game when support is roaming and is super far behind.

Well when you have a carry who's going to be building 6 damage items and also the most consistent damage, I think it's a good trade off they're behind levels.

I'm sure we've all experienced what happens when an ADC gets ahead at some point and its not very fun.

I'm sure we all experienced a fed mid/top lane 2 levels ahead delete bottom lane in 2-3 shots max although only having 1 item. Your point?

I'm a Mid/Top main but I do believe in having a fair game.

I usually don't die by a fed mid laner or top laner, and usually doesn't happen quite often unless you misposition, but if you are against someone with more mobility like Riven then yes I'll agree it's more tough but not impossible.
