Electrocute is the most buggy rune in the game
Like holy shit, when I hit THREE times in THREE seconds it should fucking PROC

You hit three times with different attacks and abilities or an ability hit more than once resulting in a total of 3 hits? That's two very different things

Does a basic attack not count as an attack? I don't get it
Yes, basic attacks count as a stack. Resets, only count as one. Stuff like
who empower their next auto see only 1 stack from landing.
What Kaioko is asking however if your counting multi hit ability's.
Have skills that deal multiple instances of damage from a single use, that damage is counted only 1 time as a stack, regardless of its hit count.
Again, like I said in my other reply its a timer from the first stack, 3 seconds. So 3 autos over 3.25 seconds wont trigger it. 3 individual attacks and ability's are required within the window. Autos have a travel time so even if you can get 3 of them out in 3 seconds it has to LAND in 3 seconds or less. anything over is a no go.
What I'm trying to figure out is how when I auto attack reset then use another auto it doesn't proc.
You need 3 Triggers to proc. Each individual auto is a trigger. So 3 in under 3 seconds. Even a fraction of a moment longer means electrocute is back to 0 triggers.
To just auto 3 times and get a trigger with 0 abilitys your base AS needs to be at 0.667 attacks per second or higher, and theres wiggle room depending on movement or SS as they might relocated.
Many things are coded as ability's, For basically everything you only ever see a single stack per cast. This includes non damaging spells like
Wither and apparently
which I just learned today.
Honestly you should look at the wiki page on it and see if there's any questions you cant get answered there first.
Its not refreshing duration. So you have 3 seconds from the first bit of damage applied. If its 3.5 seconds your 3rd hit lands it wont trigger.
