I don't know if it's because people can't figure out how to lock in a champion or what, but I'm on my 3rd dodge after this painfully long new queueing process and about to just quit for the night.
I hope this gets better, because this is enough for me to strait quit League after 3+ years of playing. I'm not going to spend a half hour trying to play a single game... my time could be far better spent playing something else within a few minutes.
I entered queue and selected my ranked roles at 7:30 pm. It is now 8:06 pm and between dodges/ afks I still have not gotten into a game. There is zero chance I spend another dime here.
I have not tried to log into a game using the new team builder, but the long wait times sounds like what happened during the summer 2015 when there were server changes occurring behind the scenes. Games were regularly taking 10+ minutes. I quit for a week after one went over 20 minutes. The problem could be increased load, decreased server dedication, bandwidth limiting, coding errors, or who knows what else. We can only give it time to see if it works out.
