If you are going to force Dynamic Queue on us, can you at least remove 4 man queues?

There's nothing more miserable than queuing up for a competitive game than to get stuck with a 4 man premade as a solo player. Best case scenario they are all on voice chat and the only communication you receive is them barking short orders at you all game to fall in line with them. Worst case scenario they pick 4 "break the meta picks" and there's nothing you can really do about it.

I can't fathom any possible way Riot could "improve" this experience.

Either way, I've never had an enjoyable game when I'm stuck with 4 man premades, and it happens more than you'd think. We already have to deal with our fair share of bad games from other factors, can we please eliminate this one with an easy change of only allowing people to queue as 1, 2, 3, or 5 man premades?

If you remove 4-man, you can make solo its own queue and keep dynamic as 2,3,5.

If a 4 man really wanted to troll, they could just FF 20 regardless of the circumstance. Only need 4 to pass the vote.

I haven't experienced this, of course, and their rank would rapidly diminish, but it's a scary thought nevertheless.

Hey OP, what is the difference between "falling in line" and playing like a team player? Because you make it sound like you just want to do whatever the fuck you want and still expect to have a positive experience. Maybe, just maybe, compromising between your mindset and the mindset of the rest of your team might actually make you a better team player? And maybe that's a reality Dynamic queue is forcing you to wake up to, and you will be better because of it.

I feel like smacking you upside the head out of jealousy right now if that is truly the worst scenario you've ever had with a 4-man premade. If I had the choice to have 100% of my 4-man premades follow that scenario I would be a very happy man.

Let's not forget if you have a 4 man premade on your team you're likely up against one too. So not only are you dealing with a team that all does their own thing without you and leaves you on the short bus, but you have to deal with a VERY coordinated enemy team as well, making it even MORE unlikely that you'll be able to make much of a difference in the match.

I guess riot wants solo players who end up in 4 man premades to just find the enemy solo player and 1v1 him at the kid's table while the people playing the came "correctly" decide the match. Separate but equal. Hmmm... where have I heard that before?

I bet you've played with 4-man premades a LOT more than you realize. Not all premades are full of cocknuggets who troll/trash/control you. You're actually better off with a 4-man premade than you are with 5 solo or 2+2+1, or 2+1+1+1 or 3+1+1, due to the massively increased communication advantage that group has over smaller premades.

Studies have shown people often have no problem remembering negative experiences, whereas positive experiences are less likely to be remembered.

I would seriously say I am one of the biggest supporters of Dynamic queue on the boards, and myself i dont have a problem with being solo in 4 man queues actually i meet a group of guys that i frequently play with now from being a solo in their group.

But i wouldn't mind/disagree with no 4 man groups it's such an odd scenario for the solo it's almost not worth having

then again if i had my say i would have 4 man queues but give the solo the ability to dodge w/ no lp penalty(but still a time penalty , to discourage abuse)

Im one of the person who actually favors DQ but I think this point I can agree with. It's fine to do that in normal drafting but hauling 3 extra friends on ranked just seem unfair for the other side.

I got placed with a 4 man premade who had a top laner who went nasus and proceeded to go 0/20 and after he fed they were like we are sorry man hes been boosted from bronze 3. so I had a bunch of gold 5s and then a silver 2 on my team who was supposed to be bronze 3. GG WP.

I feel like there needs to be an incentive for solo players to queue as solo. Pre-mades already have their incentive (group play, easier communication, etc) with Dynamic Queue.

What if Riot made it so that if you, as a solo player, get teamed up with a three or four man pre-made, you get a slight bump to LP gained for a win, and the same for a loss? Maybe +5/-5 in either direction.

And for normal draft, maybe they get a slight IP bump. idk

No 4 man ques.

Make the 2's and 3's go together.

Thus, the solos will always be solo even in dynamic que.

No because if they do, it would be admitting dynamic queue is wrong therefore they began compensating players who don't abuse dynamic queue. Just accept it for what it is. Riot is perfectly happy letting their game become a fucking circle jerk of trash players getting nonstop boosted. No one likes dynamic queue. Back then no one liked Solo Q either but at least it wasn't forced on us. And players who didn't wish to Solo Q can only do the team rank or twisted treeline. Riot just doesn't give a damn.

Dynamic queue is the biggest and worst thing to come into rank. You can tell mostly how bad players are by how they defend it since it benefits them. Like legitimately dynamic queue does NOT encourage competitiveness at all and that's the point of rank. You want this participation bullshit fluffy dynamic bullshit, force it upon normal players not rank. Tired of getting junglers with diamond border who don't know Lee will prob gank you at your buff.
