Can anyone explain why yasuo's q cooldown is affected by attack speed
How does it make sense COOLDOWN REDUCTION IS FOR SKILLS ATTACK SPEED IS FOR BASIC ATTACKS WAT

Because its a unique mechanic on Yas, why does having Attack Speed give Lucians Ult more damage, but not MF?
Cause hes already over loaded, so they decided to overload him even more.
just think of it as a piercing AA.
I don't even know bro.
'Cause it's considered a skillshot basic attack.
I know, weak reasoning. I guess they just wanted to make
even more useful on him.

Ezreal Q is a basic attack sklillshot why isnt it affected by attack speed then

Well they just want it to be a targeted Auto attack, so by building attack speed, you attack faster.
Because there are like, no good CDR items for Yasuo besides Cleaver? And maybe a defensive Spirit Visage pick up?
I don't think you understand how weak Yasuo would be if he had no way to reduce the cd of his Q without having to buy CDR
It counts as an auto attack and it kind of his. He uses his big sword.
Q's CD is scaling on attack speed to give him a reason to build AS instead of CdR and to give him a distinctly shaped power curve.
Yasuo was another of Riot's attempts to make a viable melee carry, with carry meaning someone who builds like a ranged ADC and not like a bruiser and plays like a sustained damage dealer and not an assassin. Then, they gave him an assassin ultimate...
The problematic part of that AS scaling, as well as the double crit passive, is its synergy with a certain item. Normally, Yas's Q is supposed to be rather weak, requiring both AS for the cooldown and some extra AD to do real damage.
with its passive circumvents this need for additional AD with its passive.
because riots game design team has lost their minds. Thats why. Yasuo is the prime example of bad game design. Like actually if you were to teach a class about game design yaso would be the complete case where absolutely all the things you should not do are represented. This is by riots own words. Look up their post about "toxic" gameplay. they list like 7 things they DONT want in champions. yasuo fulfills all 7 to the highest degree. But I guess muskin sales are too strong so they need to appeal to the average cod player for that.
