as much as i want to see garen buffs, there are systematic issues that need to be addressed first.

meddler pointed out a few weeks ago, that they want to get some work done on garen.

but before that happens, we need to aknowledge just how much of a shit the tank update took on juggernauts as a class. its not just garen whos struggling right now. absolutely all of them crashed into borderline unplayable territory. even darius who has probably been the most solid champion out of the bunch, and managed to come out of the update mostly ok, lost steam.

juggs are a class of champions that is to a big part designed around stacking large amounts of health. with the tank update, riot went ahead and redistributed a massive amount of health on items into resistances and a tank core item that is simply inaccessable to them. item 3193

the worrying part is, that except smaller buffs to mundo and some attempt at working on udyr, i havent even seen any form of aknowledgement that the class as a whole suffered from the item changes, nor any plans to work on their itemization.

im honestly starting to lose patience, and im kinda salty that the rework team hasnt considered the impact of tank item changes on juggernauts in their work. its a well known fact that their itemization overlaps to a large degree. its even supposed to. and additionally ive seen people voice concerns way before the update, and tried to remind riot to remember what happens to juggs when theyre changing tank itemization.

its been a couple of month since the patch already and we really need riot to start talking about plans to deal with this situation.

Those graphs don't mean everything. For example, illaoi has a known bug with crits right now. And if you play illaoi, you know full crit isn't that good on her.

those graphs tell you a lot.

its not just those 4 champions either. i could go on and keep listing juggs and you would clearly see how all of them massively dropped when 7.9 hit live and people simply stopped playing them, due to how bad they are right now.

this is clearly not a coincidence or individual issues with the champions. it points at a systematic issue with the current game balance. an entire class of champions just dropped off and went into the shitter with a single patch.

and just for your information, the illaoi bug was only discovered recently, and it doubles critical strike amplifiers like infinity edge on her w. otherwise she has been dropping off around the exact same time over the last couple of weeks like the other juggernauts.

how do you explain every single juggernaut, except darius taking a massive dip in win and playrate with the patch? even darius dropped off somewhat. hes still strong enough to not be garbage, but he lost in strength aswell. how else do you explain that?
