this season is way harder to climb than any other season especially as a mid main [Long Read]
- Abuse of premades
1: "premades have always been around you're just salty that you have no friends HAAAAAAAAAAA GOT EM" No stop; premades may have been a thing in the past but back then there were restrictions for premades, it wasn't really accepted by the player base, and back then you could go on na.op.gg or lolnexus to know who the premade was and adjust your gameplay accordingly. "O their jungle and mid laner are together? I shouldn't play super aggressive early because premades will always have eachother's back."
There was also the consistency of premades, You could only play with or against a team of two. Nothing more than two and anything less meant it was solo queue. Now being in a premade for ranked is widely accepted, there are way less restrictions, and there is NO way you can tell they are in a premade unless they show it via their club tags.
2: Their premade is 3 or more? well guess what, if you don't do what they say you're more likely to get reported and flamed with no chance of your reports getting them banned, why? because premades can't do nothing wrong and the majority will always get their reports favored.
3: People in the same skill range are not queuing together, We have gold 1-2 players queuing with their silver 4 guy who has been on a severe loss streak playing against people who are obviously better than him which leads to the silver 4 guy getting stomped and opening a huge flame war with anybody but his friend. Then you have people who queue with these assholes not telling them to get their shit together which ends up losing the match.
- These queue times are fucking atrocious
1: Here is where the mid main problems come in. Here I am, I wish to play mid because its my main role and I love it. I don't have to be in a 2v2 lane or top lane where im expected to be a damage sponge of some sort. Well guess what? it takes 5 minutes or more to find a match as a mid main and it only gets worse the higher you get. Then you have to deal with the absurdly long champ select.
30 seconds before it starts, 30 seconds for 6 people to do bans then 30 seconds for each person to pick. Not including champion select time and IF everyone takes all 30 seconds. That is 2 minutes and 10 seconds worth of waiting. Combined with the time it takes to get mid that is at least 7 minutes and 10 seconds worth of wait time.
NOT including people who dodge or selecting champions. That is almost half way towards knowing if the surrender button is going to be an option in the future match. This also does not factor in, trolls who force people to dodge, and people who forget to lock in their champion.
2: Champion select abuse (ties with atrocious queue times): "HI im playing "support" leblanc" these people are running RAMPANT. They are asshole mid mains who hit the support button to get supremely shorter queue times and either go full damage and succeed or full damage and fail. NO sightstone what so ever for either build which normally leads to the team losing.
- THIS GAME IS OVERLOADED AS FUCK
You are an assassin and didn't go bruiser build of some sort? BAM you are dead because damage is way to high, What is that? how do you counter it? o you go bruiser build because thunderlords and 2 damage items are all you need to pop anybody who is squishy before they can kill you.
- Personal pet peeve that really frustrates me the most
DEATH TIMERS people are constantly making risky play, after risky play, after risky play. that keeps getting killed OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. But teams can't close out a game because the enemy team respawns to fast and since you are low from the last fight you can't do anything about it. seeing people with 10 deaths at the 30 minute mark is stupid. The only people who even had a problem with death timers were people who loved getting caught out and killed thinking they deserve a second chance for getting caught out and killed. we might as well have the season 2-3 warding system back because it doesnt matter if there is barely any vision on the map if the people you killed are just gonna respawn within 30 seconds.
end up having most damage on team with little to no counterplay as an adc. You can't all in them early if they dont mess up really seriously, because they have tons of damage, a relatively easy cc to land, plus the damage of the enemy adc and the enemy minions, while the longer they get into the game the more items they will get and higher chance of one shotting you or forcing you out of lane they have.

over
then start a fight with a
a level behind without me.
