Gangplank is statistically the number one top laner btw
And sees competitive play.
It's like no matter how hard you try to nerf him (look at his changelist), ranged procs on grasp that count as melee will always be a disgusting thing to try and balance.
And GPs are catching on that you can whack a barrel once or twice and between that and minions grasp is up 24/7, and between that and the stupid fucking parrrrley being counted as melee (making grasp a lot more effective), it makes laning against GP a massive chore as he can apply early pressure against a lot of melee matchups while still being able to scale the way GP does.
You have to either fix grasp interaction with parrrley or potentially deal with nerfing GP yet again.
