The Bounty System Is Ruining The Game.

By bounty system i am referring to all kill rewards in the game. The problem is that assisting in kills gives a way too high reward, with the current bounty system gold is created out of nothing to be given for assists, that means that solo killing an enemy gives 300 gold, but killing him with help from your support or jungler gives 300 gold to you and 150 gold created out of nothing for the players who assisted you.So A team earns 50% gold by simply ganking someone or getting a kill in the botlane (since the support is there to get an assist). That way even if adc items are nerfed it will not matter, the problem in the adc role snowballing is gold difference, gold difference is also the reason the turrets cant be buffed to make the games longer, forcing a player to stay for 30 minutes in a game that was over by the 10th minute will not help him comeback it will just make him hate the game more.I am not implying that players should not be rewarded with gold for assisting in a kill,i am just implying that they should be rewarded in a manner that does not cause the game's balance to collapse. Riot made a lot of effort in trying to make the game more fun for supports so that the role is more attractive to the playerbase and that bounty system was the only solution they saw back then, but that was a long time ago supports now have powerfull and cheap items much more powerfull than other roles, i dont see why the bounty system should favor botlane so heavily. There was a point in giving extra gold for assists when supports had weaker itemization and adcs took longer to scale, but not now.

chain buffing point and click support champions really made it appealing because of how brainless and easy it is to be effective on these champions.

What chain buffs? Unless you count indirect buffs there were none.

"Why are competitive games boring? Why doesn't anyone go for kills?"

Because killing sprees punish so much, plus getting a gold with assists gives more gold than solo kill in total. Also, who's idea was it to make having 2 kills apply a bounty? That's shitty.

I'm surprised this is something being complained about, because the purpose of the Bounty system is a comeback mechanic. By giving more gold to teammates taking down a bounty together, the losing team gets more gold, which helps 'em come back.

It does not look like you read any of my post, since at the first sentence i say

By bounty system i am referring to all kill rewards in the game.

Than that's not a bounty system, though I admit I did miss the first line of your post. That's just the Kill system.

lol wikia Bounties Teams earn gold rewards when they kill enemy champions. This reward is the bounty of the killed champion. Bounties are divided into three parts:

Kill bounty: Earned by the champion who deals the killing blow. Assist bounty: Shared evenly among the champions who assist in the kill. Team bounty: Earned by all the champions in the team, living or dead

So what you're saying is that it's both.

I agree.

As a top main it's complete bullshit whenever I manage to flip a gank around and get a kill before I die but I still lose because the enemy team gets more gold from the assist even though we went 1 for 1. If anything it feels like I deserve more gold for managing to get a kill in a fight against my favor, instead of the other way around. I realize junglers need a way to acquire gold but they should increase jg camp gold and xp so they can actually keep up with laners and stop forcing the jungler to be everyone's mommy and daddy.

I completely avoid playing jungle in its current state because this "you MUST gank" crap turns me off big time, which is a shame because I like the design of a lot of jungle champs. I'd rather just chill out, get strong, and worry about making an impact later in the game.

I'm sorry but i really don't feel convinced this is a core problem. The biggest reward killing a champion isn't just the gold you get but it's the advantage of eliminating the competition so you can push, take their tower, take objectives etc. You getting that 450 gold after they killed 3 times... and left you on a gray screen for almost a minute. It's nothing.
