I'm only silver 4 so it's not a big deal but I'm wondering if fill would make me climb faster and get better. I have a good champ roster. Jungle - Fiddle, Skarner, Quinn, Bard Top - Tahm Kench, Jax, Bard Mid - Talon, Karthus, Bard Support - Tahm Kench, Thresh, Taric, Bard ADC - Jhin, Thresh, Bard

Support is the worst role to carry in low elo if you aren't playing brand, zyra, pyke or something like them. If you want to climb fast pick 2 roles and get good at them with a select few champs.

I main Karthus mid but every time I do it I seem to do amazing and then my team falls behind and I can't carry because getting stunned as karthus is an insta-gib.

But srsly,people like u are the reason why bard is considered as troll pick in low tiers :c
If u like that champ focus on supp role,hes not efficient in other roles.
If u like quinn focus on top.
Btw ur roster have too much different playstyle champs.
Try to focus in 2 roles and get 2-3 champs with simmiliar playstyle for that.
Bard and tresh both have to roam alot to carry,taric and Kench in other hand have to save adc which means much more attention to map and gameknowlege(Where is jungler right now etc) and still roam which makes them harder to learn and play right.
So if u like bard.take pyke and tresh for second/third champ and focus on them,learn how to roam,how to catch people with them.
if u like quinn,take something like kled and shen with her and focus on it,learn how to play it properly,they are again focused on roaming after 6.
That what will make u climb,not fill for all roles(U prob would just be bad at all 5 of them lul).

I literally have an average S or S- in all bard's traits for stats. Bard AD is one of the best things in this game and I usually carry with him. People doing good on bard isn't the reason he's considered a troll pick, most people just can't play him in low elo.
OniichanQQn1 votesits all depends on ranks,S on bard in silver is whole different story in gold,and its not much in plat and diamond. s in silver is not a indicator,its doesnt mean that its working,atleast if ur goal is higher rank. I told what to do and what to focus if u climbing is ur goal. U will see by urself how ur ad bard or ap bard(even worse than ad bard) or jungle bard builds gonna get shred to pieces against some1 who is atleast decent. Im saying that iI prob could get s+ as AD brand or AP graves in silver,but that doesnt mean its good and doesnt mean it will work further when u climb higher. So sticking to ur ad bard will win u games but overall wont make u climb higher than where u are now,because once u hit a certain border u will be seen as trol,it will not work anymore(any Cait,jhin,sivir with atleast vision of how adc played and aware of ur range for auto wont leave u any chanses to win lane),and u will get demoted back to place where ur ad bard works..and well..whole circle will start again. Its better to aim for most efficient playstyle/build for ur champ and learn how to use it if ur aiming to climb,because even if full supp bard will work less in silver(arguable,since a huge part of dmg comes from meeps,not scales on abilities,which means for early/mid game if played properly u wont see difference),but suppBuild will mean more in gold,even more in plat and will become musthave in dia and higher. But if ignore all that shit above said,and to answer ur original question,no sticking to jungle bard or AD thresh wont make u climb faster,and it definetly wont make u better,same with expanding ur champion pool too much.

Reduce your champion pool to 2 one tricks per role tops.
