I think the counterplay is not letting him get to that point. Dozens of champs when that fed will murder you with little counterplay. That's the game you chose to play.

No the tower isn't going to do anything.

But chances are if a yi's strong enough to the point where he can outright tank tower shots, your team will have grouped or at least know how to respond to dives.

If that doesn't work either you guys fucked up or yi's fed beyond belief.

Ofc Yi, with tons of mobility beats Lux. She has no kiting potential outside of her Q. Lux right now is also really strong if you let her get 2+ items with an even gold lead.
