Question about Akali changes

Currently Akali rarely uses her crescent slash in a fight because it takes up too much energy. By shifting her power to crescent slash from her ultimate, is this not going to make her weaker in duels?

Just a heads up.

crescent slash did not really get buffed

With 300 AP and 105 base AD and 50 bonus AD she does 375 damage with the new E at max rank on a 3 second cooldown and 343 damage with the old E which was on a one second cooldown.

If you are looking for max DPS it was a nerf

Her passive also does not really work well with her kit since she has to get 2 autos off for the damage. Getting one auto off is reasonable since that has been the way to proc Q but the second one leaves her vulnerable.

Akali is SO HOT2 votes

Crescent Slash got nerfed. They upped the base damage but changed the scaling to Bonus AD from AD so the damage comes out to be about the same. Then they tripled the cooldown at rank 5 which is a huge nerf. What's annoying is that this hurts AP Akali much more than Bruiser/Tank Akali.

They don't have too see her to know that she takes damage form AoE abilities still.

you mean the smoke that last half of the time it currently does and that she can't control the placement of? yeah what a buff
