How do you feel Gangplank is doing right now?

I've seen people claim Gangplank is still a really strong champion. I've seen people claim the Trinity Force change was a huge hit for Gangplank. I personally find the first one more likely, put your pitchforks away.

I've seen Meddler say ''He's watching him'' after the Trinity Force Change. It's not very clear to me what Riot's current view on him is, and I'm kinda curious, especially with these varying opinions going on. Just to make sure this is clear, I am not asking for a Gangplank buff in any way at all.
