If it was possible, I'd literally beg to trade you some keys for chests.
Except I doubt you'd do that anyways because I have, like, 3 keys in addition to no chests.

Other way around for me
because the system doesn't give you more keys than you can earn chests over time, i've been sitting on 4 unopened chests and 0 keys ever since the launch of hextech crafting... every week gives 1 chest and 1 key without fail

You need a A or higher to get a key fragment.

i got the same problem but i got too many keys and no Chests.
im the opposite.. i have like 7 keys... but no chests to open...
I don't understand this problem. I play support where 1-1-19 is only an A- and once you do finally have boxes for all the support champs you do enjoy playing there are very limited opportunities to get a chest. Especially since taking a death in support can cost you an S rank easily.
Do chests refresh every season? or once you get a chest with a champ its one and done? ( ^ it shouldn't really be like that right? you get a new chest opportunity every week so . . . )
Just play ARAM, I get plenty of keys from there, I only got 1 chest remaining and 1 key shard.

I get like 6 keys in a row then nothing for a month :(
For me it seems that I almost always get a key when playing well meaning S and penta kills, or is that a thing?
I've gotten 1 key fragment and 1 chest in the last month.
I have no chests. I got an S- on 
but that wasn't enough.
