Riot wants your ability as an individual player to be ranked along side your ability as a team player?

Then on top of that, how does having a team of 3 or 4 and 1 or 2 randoms showcase your ability to "team play"? It only shows your ability to coordinate with a partial team.

You can type in chat and you can ping...you can discuss picks and bans in champ select.
Simply queing together is not coordination.
