it will just make build paths that require 
so much easier and smoother to build into, especially those times where you are forced to go back with 1k or 1.1k gold but forced to buy something else or just sit on the gold because you cant get B.F, straight up.

This applies to marksmen and AD assassins. This is also the major reason why the Needlessly Large Rod also does not build out of the Amplifying Tomes.

you are acting as if this game doesnt already have a critical peak of snowballing as it is. doubt this change will be that significant.

its meant to be a high price component to big items
just as IE is the ad version of Death Cap its meant to amplify damage that is why they are costly and the 250% crit damage and the bonus ap you get from death cap.
if you were to have bf sword build out of long sword then you would have to do the same with the large rod making it be able to be built from the amplifying tomb then you would create a whole new spectrum of power spikes among so many champs across the game and therefore changing the meta...
every change has a ripple effect... good or bad
