Nerf pyke's ult gold generation already.

but riot is not doing anything about it so it's time to cry some more.

I am a pyke main, so, I don't have problem dealing with pyke, never had. I don't think his kit is problematic, never did. The problem is, even if you shit on him in lane, he just gets off some ults and comes back into the game pretty effortlessly. He is extremely snowbally and because he gets this absurd amount of gold he is ALWAYS ahead of everyone and got a lot more items than everyone. I've had games as pyke finishing full build at minute 26(with little to no farm) - that is just busted.

Yes, we won, Yes, we shat on this pyke on bot lane, and yet, look at how much gold he got, 44 farm btw.

#24K GOLD. LIKE WTF? He was full build at minute 30, give or take. Their fed yasuo with 260 farm had 2k less gold. This champ is busted solely due to the fact he just generates TOO. MUCH. GOLD. He gets an early lead and he becomes too oppressive to deal with when he got 3k more gold than everyone at minute 20.

#Bottom line, nerf or revert that ult because that is just nonsense.

oh look another complainer :/ look at his farm? you realize they nerfed his farm against minions twice or three times so its kinda hard to do anything. his ult is his ONLY source of income out of his support item which only gives 2k gold by the end of the game. you realize how hard it is to help clear waves at the end of the game now? you literally cant. if supers are on your nexus its gg now. but yeah nerf pyke.

and the reason you shit on him is he built trash. tank pyke? he cant build health so that armor/mr accounts for literally fuck all. aftershock? no shit he lost.

Pyke is a tricky one since his ultimate is what enables him to be a support and an assassin at the same time, but the gold generation mechanic is messed and in some match ups it becomes really obvious how unhealthy it is.

If riot ever changes their stance on removing champions from the game I think pyke will be one of the first ones on the chopping block.

If Pyke gets the kill with his ultimate, then he should get assist gold for it, and the other cut should be full kill gold, unless it's a solo kill.

Also, that Pyke has 16 kills. If you let a support get that many kills in one game, the problem isn't how much gold they're making lol

What's interesting here is the fact that everyone is just looking at the pykes gold. What no one else seems to take into consideration when defending pyke is the fact that every ult kill also gives his assist a lot of gold as well. If all 16 of those kills were also ult kills then you need to factor that extra 4800 to his teammates as well. He alone gave a full item and a half to his team from his ult while giving himself 4+ items. (14400 gold). That is insane for a support that can execute any squishy at half health when at 4 items or so.

If they want to keep his gold generation like it is, they need nerf his ult. They seriously need to reduce the reset timers after a kill. Theres absolutely no reason for a reset to last as long as it does for an execute that is EXTREMELY GENEROUS with its execute threshold. The reset should be lowered to 5 seconds so he doesnt have enough time to just run down a squishy at full health, full combo them, and then still have enough time to kill them with his ult reset after killing everyone else.

They also need to lower his ult scaling for an execute. Theres no reason for an ult that gives so much benefit to also be extremely generous with how easy it is to execute someone. put it to a flat 20% target health instead of whatever the scaling per lethality of it is now because its absurd seeing a him instakill people at half health as a support.
